| Meeting Jesus Again |

Today I met Jesus as I spent some time outside in the sunshine. I walked Couper, and he played and sniffed, and soaked up the warm sun. I started to rake the little garden by my front door that looks like a total mess, and then kept raking and raking. My hands are blistered, but my soul is filled. I spent the time with my Mp3 player on full blast and this new song I love playing over and over. It's called Captivated and it's by a guy named Shawn McDonald. Here are the words:

I thank you, my God for letting me know
The word captived, according to the dictionary, means: to attract and hold the attention or interest of, as by beauty or excellence; to enchant. Isn't that a great word for the emotion we feel when we encounter Christ? Captivated. I hope I'm always captivated by the presence of Jesus, and that I don't take for granted all the wonderful things God does, and the small miracles that happen everyday.
