OK - Just because I can...
I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED!!! YIPPEEE!!!
The phone call came around 8:30pm after a very nerve-wracking hour and a half. He says, "Can I speak to Devon." I said, "Yes you can. How's it going?" He said, "Is it worth the wait to hear good news?" I said, "Well..do you have good news?" He says, "Is it worth waiting a little longer for?" At this point I almost cried. Then he said, "Just kidding...you passed and there were no questions about it!" YAY!
So then I made so many phone calls that I didn't even get on here to tell you about it!!
I saw Jesus yesterday in a strange place -
The man who does my taxes is someone very interesting. He is SO nice and SO caring about what he does. It's like his mission to get you as much money back as he can. Well pastors don't get a lot of money back -ever - and so he was really sad to tell me that I wasn't getting much back. In my world that is like HECK YEAH! I don't owe anybody a bunch of money. So that was such a blessing and the entire nervous process went totally fine. (It did take 3 hours though..)
Then I met Jesus as I sat with my grandparents and just had the opportunity to chat with them. I don't get to do this very often so it means a lot to me just to have some time to be with them. They are getting older and I feel like it's really important to make special time for them!
Ok - this is yesterday's so I'll write again tonight!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS. THEY WORKED MORE THAN YOU'LL KNOW. God is good and I am humbled again!
