Well, life has been busy lately. The kids finally got out of school! I love summer break!! :) Now Missy is playing summer basketball at the high school and Sonny has been at his dad's for almost two weeks. He'll be home in a few days.
I have decided to let Sonny live with his dad this school year. He's almost 14 years old and just keeps nagging on me to let him. So I'm going to cross my fingers that the two of them see each other through clear eyes finally. They are so much alike sometimes that I think Sonny will be home by the end of the school year. Hopefully he will come to realize what a manipulative person his dad is. And what a chauvinist he is.
In the good news department (I think), the Cowboy is back in my life. It's been a bit stressful but he is sober and seems to have a different attitude than what I've seen in the last couple years. Only time will tell if he's really ready to walk away from that lifestyle.
