I figured I should introduce the cast of characters so far.

NC - Normal Coworker. She's normal, laid back, and is as fond of shoe shopping as I. When we want to eat lunch without the Mumbler, we go to the mall, and say we're panty shopping.

The Mumbler - Neurotic, possibly deranged coworker with issues about nearly everything. Obsessed with seniority - who has it, who doesn't have it, etc. Frequently makes himself look like an asshat.

Boss - Fairly normal boss, with adorable penchant for starting impromptu meetings at 4:45 p.m.

Roommate - Fairly self-explanatory. Friend, but has amazing capacity to frequent her own little world, where the rest of the planets revolve around her. There is no accurate measuring stick for her wrath if this doesn't happen.

RB - Roommate's boyfriend. I could write an entire blog about him, but won't.

OBF - Other Best Friend. Beside the roommate, this one had the good sense to live a little farther away. Excellent hostess, loves throwing parties, sometimes gets taken advantage of by people who are more self-absorbed than her.

The Guy - I more than like him. He more than likes me. He frustrates me sometimes, and I'm fairly certain I frustrate him a lot. I'm hoping he doesn't dump me for a Brazilian supermodel who only knows one word of English - yes.
