God is a complicated thing to talk about. Spirituality in general has been fuzzed over by religion, so now a days people tend to think that God = Religion, when really it doesn't have to. If you can shed the trappings of man and reach God on a more spiritual level then all those things keeping you weighed down will seem as trivial as they really are. It's easy to say...harder to do.
As for talking about God or anything "sensitive" with your significant other, naw, that's not unusual at all. I've been with my husband for eleven years and I still stutter over some subjects, and totally avoid others.

| I have prayed with my daughter from a very young age. Her father didn't understand it, but he couldn't say much on the subject. The man I'm dating now while he doesn't pray on his own, he respects ua and prays with us. My daughter has started saying prayer before we eat, whether it be @ home or in public. All I can say is start when you're ready. You're never too young for God! |
