Aeron here.
Now it's my turn to tell you how I became a mutant-bird-freak.
When I was born, I was taken away from my parents and replaced with a different baby, so my parents wouldn't suspect anything. They couldn't tell the different when they swapped us because my mother had a C-section and wasn't allowed to see me until the next day. So when I was born I was taken to "The School" and the Whitecoats injected avian DNA into my blood stream. I was there for 1 year, but I never grew my wings. I was a baby, so I didn't understand what was going on and I didn't remember it until now.
Anyways, for one year, the Whitecoats experimented on me over and over and over again, to try and make me grow my wings, From what I hear, it was quite painful, but once again, I was just born and don't remember anything. Finally, they gave up.
After I turned one years old, the Whitecoats decided that they were done experimenting on me for now, but still wanted to keep an eye out for me. So they assigned two of the Whitecoats to be my mother and father.
And I've grown up, thinking that they are my real parents.
When I was 9 years old, I started feeling pains in my back, between my shoulder blades and down. I told my parents and they looked at each other with worried faces. They told me to go to my room and stay there until they told me to come out. I was scared, and wondered if I was in trouble and why. I overheard my parents making phone calls, and talking to many different people.
Finally, after two hours, they came into my room. They explained everything to me. I was shocked beyond belief. I WAS A MUTANT-BIRD-FREAK FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!
And suddenly, my parents weren't my parents anymore, and I was alone. But I was forced to stay with them, they threatened me, and said that if I didn't keep quiet, I would have to live at the School. Occationally I did have to go to the School and have some tests done. I hated it, it was torture. Complete and utter torture. I called our house "The Prison" because that's what it was. They kept me locked away in my room, with bars on my windows, I did have a TV and enough food to stay stong, but it was still a living hell.
I was told to act like a normal girl outside of the Prison, and I did the best I could. We even went to church. And I do believe in God, and I prayed to him everyday to get me out of there.
And that prayer was answered when I met Jo, that fateful day at Marissa's birthday party.
From then on, we were free.
Now, I live with a different couple. They found me a took me in.
They love me, and accept me for who I am, being a mutant-freak and all.
Jo is coming over soon to celebrate New Years with me.
It will be a blast.
I hope you have a Merry New Year!!
