Kennedy left the scene of the accident and did not call authorities until the following day  ( if this actually occurred, it was to cover-up for someone else ) ( maybe, like an "anonymous" twin ) ( someone else unauthorized to be there at the time of the alleged incident ) ( also unlikely 
that Ms. Kopechne was actually "inside" the vehicle or "died" acccording to the above facts and circumstances ) ( if this incident "really" occurred, then maybe even a "dummy" was inside the car ) ( very "risky" for an incumbent  Senate candidate or Senator in 1969 )
