Did I spend the day with a freak?
Hi...I've sold 150 copies of my first novel: I Spent the Day With a Freak...it's about a man and a woman on a blind date in London...Quite a few people have asked me if it relates to my own experiences and if the ending...? Definitely not the ending...the rest...some of it yes...but if you've ever been on a blind date you'll relate to the pressures that I talk about...Why not share those experiences...?

Congratulations!
Sounds like an interesting book.
I have never been on a blind date.

How exciting to get a book published.
I have always wanted to do that, but blogging seems to fill that desire.
These blogging sites make it possible to publish whatever you want to write.

Thanks for the nice message.

Well...I was on the road from 9.00am and headed to Islington...north of the river. I got off at Angel and with my back-pack attached strolled along Upper Street...just a normal Joe in the heart of cafe society. Books for sale...books to give away...books that just need to be read. Books that...everyone...you sir, you madame...anyone...I have a book for sale...a book written by me...

Hi DS...and of course anyone else who finds me...Looking forward to the weekend: friends 40th on the Sat and on Sunday...off to see Arcade Fire...Feeling optimistic about the future; the last few months have heralded a change...Though must say that I am an optimist by nature anyway...so...Has anyone bought my book yet?

Top of the World

I ate an apple
I am awake
I saw an elephant baking a cake
I saw her last night
when I was asleep
I sleep in my bed
tucked up with my feet
I live in an igloo
that looks like a pie
on top of a hill
quite close to the sky
My mom and my dad they live with me too
and so does my octopus Kalamazoo
An umbrella he uses
to hide from the rain
When I splash in puddles
he does the same
And when the sun shines
I take off my coat
then we row out to sea
in our upside down boat.
