After sitting here and doing a bit of reading, my mother draws something to my attention. My ticket to San Fran is about $690.54 rather than $650.30 which is what it is supposed to be as I originally was given the quote and final price on my confirmation. So I took a closer look at the invoice and I noticed that not only did they over charge the ticket price but they also charged an extra 8 bucks for some random thing not specied, it just had numbers and Travelocity attached to it. I know I am not paying for the ticket but I have already told Sean it is 650 and that is what I got from you...so when I was introduced to this snafoo so to speak by Travelocity...I was not Happy.
I get on the phone and so I get to speak with yet another indian representative who can barely understand what i say to him and is asking me to repeat everything. I AM NOT IMPRESSED AT THIS POINT....so what happens is after repeating myself and being put on hold for 10 minutes I decided I would ask to speak with him manager...who is as DUMB as he is if not more....
I tell him about this and he says well it says on my account we only charged you 650, so I will need proof...and I am thinking it is so strange that they can take more money than you allow them to but you have to fight tooth and nail to get the money back...After talking to me for 5 minmutes, he puts me on hold and decides he is going to call the bank my visa is with to confirm that they actually did charge me more...WHAT AN IDIOT!!! the bank doesnt let out any information to non account holders and you would think logic would allow him to know that but really these people are lacking that so it seems from my interaction so far with them....
So I am furuios because he comes back to me saying well I cant confirm what you are telling me is true...lol...I WAS PISSSSSED....and basically because of someone who was a fuck up in this company, they somehow show only taking 650...and they insist that I could be trying to bargain for an extra 47.64...for kicks and giggles....
AFter an hour of being on the phone yelling and cussing half the time I was so pissed, he finally decides that OH YEA...well I could check with the A/R department of United Airlines to see if that is how much they took from you to pay for the ticket!!!! and then I will call you back...
FUCK UPS make life hard for EVERYONE....which is what i told the mgmt, he was telling me taht the onus was on me to prove that I wasnt trying to goug him, and so I said how convenient that when they fuck up, we have to get the run around and fight tooth and nail to get the money back but when they take the money from us, it really doesnt matter, they can take whatever they want without permission even APPARANTLY... THAT IS FUCKED UP.
Anyway, I hate corporations...thats my rant for now....this is to be continued...

what is really fucked up is the cell phone company gouging ones eyes out on ALLEGED ROAMING CHARGES and a year later they change their plans and give a person an unlimited plan for 1/3 the roaming charges with unlimited roaming.
needless I am not with them any longer. The people in the Philippines are just as hard to work with. ITS THE COMPANY POLICIES, REALLY, NOT THE PEOPLE.
