| 3:10AM and Sleepless...A Mind That Will Not Rest
|
|
|
I find it odd that the mind should want what the heart knows it cannot have.
I find it strange that the one thing you fear is the one thing you crave the most.
I find it funny that we can laugh when we are hurting.
I find it funnier still that we can laugh when someone else is hurting.
I find it amazing that we are learning every day and yet we easily forget all we have learned when we must truly call upon it.
I find it ironic that something normal can be changed into something beautiful simply by looking at things from a different point of view.
I find it illogical that we let fear drive our footsteps along paths that we are afraid to tread...and yet we always seem to find our way.

Daizeeblue, The marvels of existence are driven by our desire to exist. So we question and wonder why, yet we know why, but we just keep looking back. My post for Sunday’s Man Cave has been written and I have debated posting it this afternoon which is your Sunday morning. Now I know I will be posting it today.

I, too, constantly ask similar questions (although not stated quite so eloquently)...the heart of which seem to lie in the fact that, for some unknown reason, we seem (at least I do) to sabotage ourselves at the least little sign of success. It's almost as if, on some level, we're afraid of being happy.
The wheels keep turning...so much left unanswered.
