| If you're a perfectionist... |
|
and you like to take charge of things...keep reading.
You've gotta leave room for mistakes and imperfection or it can cause you to be a nag towards others. When you nag others, it's grates on their nerves, can even lower their self-esteem, and in turn you could be pushing them outta your life. You gotta be willing to let some mistakes and inperfections fly. As human beings we all have made and continue to make mistakes.
Take this advice by starting to take control of being a nag...
1. Validate the seriousness of the problem before approaching the issue with the person/people. Focus on ways to let go if it's not a big problem.
2. If you do voice a concern, don’t harp on it if the person/people continue to make mistakes. If you’re unhappy... then whatever type of relationship you have with the person/people might not be the best thing for you.
3. Keep in mind that you have to work on not expecting people to be as perfect as you'd like them to be.
Let me know if you think I've left anything out. This is my own advice that I'm sharing with you because I know that I'm not the only nag out there.
