Well, it is my night off. Here I sit in my house, in my small home town, 200 people, and there is not a whole lot to do. I have finally broke down and started the Harry Potter series, thought I would be too old for them. They are actually pretty good. I am halfway through the fourth one. I have sooo many books to read. I love to read. Especially curled up on my couch in the winter. It makes me feel nice and cozy. When I get finished reading the Potter books I think I am going to read a book about Queen Elizabeth. (The first one, not the second). I love reading history books from that period of time and earlier. King Henry VIII and William the Conqueror being my favorites. I want to try and find some books to read about Mad Juana, the sister of Queen Catherine, King Henry VIII's first wife. Over the years I have read a few things about her but only as she has been mentioned in something I am reading about someone else, never a book about her herself. It might be interesting.
It is cold here. We already had our first snow last week and it sure feels like more is on the way. I don't like the snow much. It is pretty and everything, but it sure is cold. I love spring. I was ready for it the minute it became cold here.
My nieces were here today for a couple of hours, after their dad went to work, and before their mom got off work to pick them up. They were extremely feisty today and had a great time. Just being silly really. Had the giggles a lot. Played hide and seek along with let's see who can aggravate the other the fastest and the most. :) I'd say they both did very very well on the second. While playing hide and seek, the youngest, who is 7, got tired of waiting for her sister to come look for her and she decided to let her know it too, in no uncertain terms, while her sister was standing right next to her looking for her. :) Gave herself away. She then proceeded to remind her sister, after her sister and I busted up laughing, that she is suppose to yell, "Ready or not, here I come" when she starts to look for her. She, the youngest, also yelled, "I'm hiding now, you can come look for me" giving her hiding space away yet again. Her sister went right to her. I had to remind her that you are not suppose to yell and let them know you are ready. LOL It was fun just watching them.
Well, gonna go look around some then read some more. Cya later.
