WOOT Okay so I have a job now, and I just finished my first shift of training. I work a Skeena Taxi now, I missed the cut off date though so I don't get paid until the end of the month, but I'll have over 80 hours on my first pay day woot woot that'll be good and it right around rent/bills time so I don't need to stress!
I have to find a babysitter for Monday though because I work from 8-6 and Jaxon doesn't know what he works on that day, so I might not need to find one, never know.
anyway though back to the job it went very well and what I do is I answer the phone and take the address and the time of the call and then I put it down the shoot where it goes to the dispatcher and she radios a cab for the person then she puts the slip of paper in the cab drivers slot, then when it's the end of his shift she takes out all his slips and sticks them all together and files them in case something happend and the police need to see the times and stuff.
I work the morning shifts so I'm the first phone girl on of the day when I do work. And all my shifts are 10 hour shifts and they're all 8-6 so I kinda like that because I enjoy my nights and I really like set times for working it's easier to get into the swing of things.
I love it though, I myself am I smoker and we can smoke right there inside the building at our desk because it's a privately owned bussiness and the public does not ever come in or anything. So for me that is a good thing, and all the other girls smoke or don't mind it, so it doesn't bug any of them.
And they tell me not to dress up or anything they tell me to make sure to dress comfortable because I sit for 10 hours I need to be comfortable. We just kick of our shoes and sit on big puffy computer chairs and lean back with really high backs and answer phones, we can eat and drink and smoke whenever we want (by drink of course I mean like pop or juice or coffee or tea or something lol) I really like it, I got really used to doing it tonight so Monday isn't going to be to hard for me ^^
So anyway that's my update!
