I've been to many countries and places before.
India and the United States were the most adventureous ones, probably because crazy things happened :]
I was 4 years old when my parents took me to India for about 3 months.
Do you know the expression "elephants never forget"?
Well, I'm certainly not an elephant then x] In my case the expression would have to be "never forgot elephants" which refers to my time in India. I saw quite a few elephants there and I loved it!
Anyway, I'm lucky to be alive (although I disagree with that most of the time today). I'll explain why.
One day I was walking along the beach in Sri Lanka just playing around in the sand when all out of a sudden a coconut fell from a tree and hit the ground right infront of me. I was lucky because the coconut almost hit my head.
Today you might think that actually happened haha.
Ok, what else?
Oh yeah, that's right. I remember having breakfast with my parents on the beach when I saw a lizzard.
A lizzard ? Err ... yeah, it was a lizzard, but not a normal one.Not one that you usually see in your garden. To me it was a dragon at the time, so imagine what size that creature had!
And it must of been more than huge for me to remember that! x]
Lets move on to the crazy time in the U.S.
I can only say, I got to know what the Second Ammendment was the first day I arrived. Lol.
My Dad was using a public phone, my Mom and me were standing by the car we had rented when there was this lunatic who started shooting at us!
"Go back to where you came from you Europeans!"
Yeah, 2 "Nazi-Women" and an English man who never paid back the credit the Americans had lent him in the Second World War ... I guess we weren't too welcome x]
Hang on, I'm not finished yet. That was just the beginning!
One week later my Dad wanted to get some money from the cash point outside a bank when a guy dressed in a Mickey Mouse mask, gloves and a coat came out of the bank.
So ?
Well, the cops were behind him and it was 45 degrees celcius at that time.
Get the point? Right, it was a bank robbery. Not one full of action though, maybe just one for kids to see on Cartoon Network lol.
That was in Florida, not in the Wild West. And that was in 1999, not in the 19th. century x]
Besides that, I got to know Racoons. Weird creatures too ^^
My parents and me were at a campsite and we had left the closed cool box outside. Well, we didn't think they'd steel our food!
The next morning the box was open and all the rubbish was spread on the floor.
No, it wasn't a monkey, it was a racoon. Lets say it was a rakoon brought up by a dentist. It had stolen my toothbrush too ...
There are so many other things that happened but I might tell you another time :]
