Somebody's got a case of the muhhhnnndays

This morning, after a wild weekend, I awoke completely unenthused about the day. Somewhat hung over, I finally have received a text message from my extremely distant significant other. The text message appropriately said “I love you”, an interesting thing to say after you haven’t spoken in 4 days. I called him and we cried on the phone with how much we missed each other and what had happened. Of course as most conversations go, my points are usually invalidated, and I’m always wrong. Good way to wake up I think!

This day is going to drag on, I can feel it, Ohio skies are their usual vibrant shade of gray, and students mope on in a sleepy college town. Fuck ambien, just come visit this place and you will sleep like you never have before in your life.

My day consists of the following events: wake up, go to work, go to a meeting, go to another meeting, go to class, work out, sleep.

I’m dreading every second of it.

It is usually at this point where I just need a long drag from a joint and a treat from CVS and I’m fine, but not today.

There’s just something about today….it will either bring about major change or further shove my head in to the rut I’ve gleefully built myself
