This is a realm for dreams, thoughts, memories, and ideas. It is a place to exist as an entity outside of myself and to create a space for imagination, discussion, and creation.
This is site is not "About Me" it is a refuge, a place to vent, a place to breathe, a place to think and feel and allow myself some brain time. Brain time that isn't full of television, cell phones or the radio, or a noisy place OR SCHEDULES! (hurray). It is a place to meditate and create words.
This blog is for the way your mind drifts when you soak in the tub, the places you go when it's quiet, and the thoughts you hear in your head while you try to fall asleep.
The world is too busy, there is no time left for discussion, we simply do not have time to question or reflect.
Sometimes, all I want to do is run and hide in the trees and take off my shoes.
But when you can't leave and you can't run. The times that you are taped to that chair and basking in the glory of a flourescent light, having your time perpetually wasted, that you go to the places of the past, the images of the world and the shelter of the imagination.
That is why this blog is called conciousness, because I am forcing myself to deal with my thoughts and not distract them with my iPod, my television, my cell phone. Who doesn't want to drift off in to thought once and a while? |
