Spring Thoughts
Happy Spring to all those in the Northern Hemisphere.  Even with snow in the forecast, for later today, it's such a relief to have Winter officially over and done with for another year.

I was thinking how nice it would be if, at the moment of Spring's arrival, all signs of Winter would be magically erased.  My eyes would feast not on barren trees and shades of grey and brown, but on flowers blooming, lush green grass beneath my feet and leaves rustling in the breeze.  Nature is one of my greatest teachers.  As I observe sunrises, sunsets and one season unfolding into another I see a gradual process, with changes, so subtle, they would be missed entirely if one were not paying close attention.

There are times I grow impatient with my life, feeling like I'm moving at a snail's pace toward my dreams and goals.  The rhythm of nature matches the rhythm of my life.  Both are a process with many small steps and changes along the way.  A seed doesn't become a beautiful flower overnight and neither will the seeds, of my hopes, goals and dreams, planted in my heart.  I must be patient as I continue to water and fertilize them with positive thoughts, hard work and prayer.

In the coming weeks, slow down and take a moment to enjoy the transformation that happens every Spring.  Believe that the promise of nature (darkness giving way to dawn ... Spring following Winter) is for your life as well.  As this season of renewal and rebirth unfolds I'm wishing each of you a reborn and renewed body, mind and spirit.  May the darkness and drab colors of your Winter soul burst forth into every color of the rainbow.  Peace.

Beautiful words and expression. You make the readers learn from Nature to make their dreams come true. We have to learn from the beauty of Springtime. It is all about passion and patience.

How beautiful those tulips in the picture.
Spring has always been my favorite time of year.
We are in Tenn. right now and the trees are blooming and there are wild daffodils everywhere. It was a beautiful day today, I spent the whole day outside. You would think living in Florida I would get sick of the sunshine and warmth but it never can be bright enough or sunny enough.
Thanks for stopping by and seeing me today, I have been so busy I have not been able to spend too much time on thoughts but I always at least check in and see how everyone is doing.
I hope you have a beautiful Easter and I hope the grass starts to turn green under your feet soon!
Peace my friend!

You may want spring to arrive instantaneously, but there is also a certain joy to anticipation when it is imminent.

It's quite similar here in Ireland as well. It's really cold with a biting wind but the daffodills are swaying and the snowdrops and crocuses are a riot of colour in my garden. Beyond is the sea, blue with great white waves rising and falling. Like you I'm so full of hope as I see the Spring unfold. It's so good to see it after the sadness of Good Friday, but knowing we have the resurrection to follow.

I wish you the most beautiful of Springs and the joy of summer ahead. Elaine

Nothing beats the beach and the sunset in the summer.
