Today, I should be in New York City. But I'm not.

That movie I did in October 2006, a tiny tiny tiny nothing part but still, my first professional job outta the box as a Clinton impersonator, is slated for a February 14, 2008 release. Tonight, the filmmakers have invited me to the Cast and Crew Screening of "Definitely/Maybe" starring Ryan Reynolds and 3 babealicious Hollywood starlets. I met Reynolds, but frankly, the babes eluded me on-set. Anyway, they sent me an invitation only late last week, a bit close to schedule a surprise trip to Le Pomme' Grande.

But, how delightful a possibility, that I might actually have attended a first screening for a major motion picture of which I have a small part (I hope - there is that whole 'cutting room floor' thing, after all).

It makes me smile. What strange and unexpected turns life can take, eh?
