I wonder.
I wonder why whales beach themselves, my partner has a theory that it's their way of committing suicide. I wonder if thats true?

I know that the gray whales here on the coast of southern oregon come in close to the river outlets to scrape themselves on the gravel to remove barnicales and stuff , we usually get one a year that gets stranded..Others just wash up dead or dying ...
