Oops, first I forgot the pics of Charlie and Patch, I'll do better next time.

Yesterday we all went for squelch along the riverside after our run around the Maypole Piece. The river (Severn) is still flowing in its trench, but only just. While we were there Charlies attention was captured by a rabbit lurking under a fallen tree. Silly creature made a bolt for it and the chase was on - I've never seen a rabbit shift so quick! However Charlie is too chunky for acute cornering and while he was making a wide sweep around the tree the bunny good his escape. I'm glad really, I don't like it when they catch something - I'm just a big old softy, but that's what terriers do! Daft dog was then running to and fro along the towpath completely unaware of where his quarry had gone.

In case you're  wondering of Patchs whereabouts during the chase, she was lagging behind attending to one of her holes that she regularly checks and excavates further. Realising that Charlie was up to something she came charging along to join in, at which point bunny went kamakaze and shot straight across her bows, somewhat startled by this she came to an abrupt halt looking decidley puzzled. It all happened so quick I don't think she knew what it was
