When your young , you don't quite dream of being 30 . You always think - WOW how great will it be when I am 18 , 21 , 40 ! But not ever did you say how great it would be to turn 30 . I turned 30 last year , I have to say that the months before the year before that lovely birth day was the craziest year of my life . I would have to say my friend ( whom was also turning 30 in the same year as me ) and I went through a mid life crisis ... for women .

We done things and acted ways that I didn't even act when I was 18 or 21 . It was if our minds and bodys knew we were turning the "golden" age . We went through guys like changing underpants - and without the crying /why me phases - we got drunk almost every night , went to weeknight parties . Partied like freakin ROCK STARS for 8 months straight .....

Then one day it all stopped ... it was 2 months before Dora turned 30 and it just all stopped . The adventure , non stop action just stopped. Just like that **POOF** .. gone . Strange huh . Maybe it was just life telling us " what the hell are you doing - grow up " way of stopping it . Then again maybe our lives changed . To think back now and wonder how the hell we masde it through and all the shit we got in and out of during those 8 months was just unbelievable .

Everyoen around us seemed to going through the same path , same chaos, same party .... its was wild beyond belief . Now I'm lucky I even step on the wild side of the street .

Do I miss it ? On occassion . It wasn;t all fun and games . Alot of lessons learend during the time , hearts broken , friends lost , but it was something I guess we all had to go through to get us to where we are today .

Was it a 30 year old crisis , before turning 30 ? Or was it a last goodbye to my twenties ?.... One will never know .
