Hi, to all of you and a happy new year! i say that with a very heavy heart. I say it as people are suffering in my own country and Gaza, and Afghanistan. In fact every where I look. I am fighting a depression that appears to be winning the battle. Each day is a struggle. If I look at the news I cry, if I don't I am being naive. I feel redundant, I feel as if there is really no point, the good are being out witted by the greedy and amoral. Smiling and laughing feel like a sin, as if happiness is not an innate feature of the human psyche, sadness and destruction are what we are supposed to aspire to.
I pray for everyone who is suffering and hungry. I pray that those who have got it all, appreciate what they have with every breath they take.
My creative spirit has withered and is dying!
