| Did This Wedding Really Happen? YOU Be the Judge! |
Years ago, on an AOL message board, one day a female poster suddenly claimed to have a new boyfriend, one who sounded like a James Bond clone to boot! She claimed to have met the guy on the message boards...a guy that mysteriously, NO ONE else even saw!
Anyway, she went on over the next few months to post a whole series of dramas with him, finally cumulating with them getting married in a Las Vegas wedding (the woman lives in Denver) and this is the part I really love: NONE of her friends were present or even invited! So I posted my opinion that the boyfriend turned husband was completely imaginary and that the alleged "wedding" never happened. Her friends torched me with attack posts and even though it was a long time ago, they still keep accusing me of harassing her about it even here in Thoughts, even though the woman is not even in Thoughts!
So you be the judge--did that "wedding" really take place, do you think? Keep in mind that there was no evidence that it did. I mean, people post lots of things online and a lot of them are pure fiction. Once in a chatroom, I met a guy who claimed to be General Rommel's son! I asked him how old he was and he said 28!!!! That was a few years ago. Do the math...for someone to be Rommel's son, they would have to be in their 60s since Rommel died in 1944!!!
Now do I have absolute evidence that the "wedding" never happened? No, nor did I ever claim to. I simply stated my opinion, but a lot of people don't really believe in free speech except for their own.
So, what is your opinion? Do you think that woman really married the James Bond clone?
