I suupose it would really depend how much that friend meant to me and if I believed they would appreciate whatever it was I am going to do for them. I'm not a completely selfless person because there are too many people in the world who wouldn't even consider doing the same thing for me.

I doubt it. Ask youself something. If the situation were reversed,would the friend give up their life for you? Most wouldn't.

I think it's not possible to really know, until you are actually faced with that situation.

I think I'd give my life for just about any one if they were in life threatning danger. I'm old enough to make the right choice. I'm not suicidal I just care.

I have put my life on the line for people I still have never met. I served in the Marines back in 69 and I fought for two countries and the ideal of democracy. So when you ask me if I would lay down my life for a friend. That's easy--- YES !

It totally depends on what they mean to me.
