Now I love nature as much as the next person. Really I do.

But while we were away the other weekend a cute little red headed finch couple decided that the wreath on my front door was the perfect place to call home and raise a family.

Now this is two fold. First the wreath is also hanging in front of a window so you get see the little birdie fix her nest, sit on her eggs, and when the eggs hatch my kids will be able to watch the baby birds grow, and fly fly away.

On the other hand, I can’t use my door which requires going in and out thru the garage and my front door will be covered in bird poop requiring me to hose it down daily.

So far, two of the eggs were dropped and broken on my porch. So not only does leave a mess, but ants then move in for the attack. It is actually rather gross. As of this morning there were 3 eggs remaining.

We’ll see how this goes…..
