Do You Always Pick The Jealous Ones?

We both know it hurts, but she knew it first.

We both feel the same, our love isn't a game.

You got us both by the strings of our hearts,

But sharing you with anyone just tears us apart.

We try to come to some agreement,

There's a way we can both have you to ourselves...

But in truth, we can't perceive it,

In jealousy we'll forever delve.

You picked us both, not just one or the other.

Why would you need more than one?

We each thought we had your love covered,

But you played us, what's been done is done.

It hurts to know that one of us is left out in the cold...

A winner in this contest can't exist.

While one wins the girl they want to have and to hold,

The other watches their heart fall apart and quickly finds themself pissed.

I hate to think that I'm deluded in this one,

I see myself as the winner.

But if I find out one day that I'm not,

My heart is in for a very long winter...

It's hard to know what's going on

Just based on what you see for a month.

But if what I see is just a show,

I'm walking out at once.

But I wonder what would happen if

The playees got together...

Would the player be as hurt as us?

Would the trust be gone forever?
