| Visiting my home country El Salvador soon.

I will book my flight today after work.
I will be going to my country soon (in a couple of weeks). I haven't been there since I came to Canada 14 years ago.
I'm so excited but also afraid (they say crime is a big problem there). I can only hope to make it back in one piece.
This is something I feel I must do. I feel a calling to my land (is that strange?). I can't wait to see my family there. Three out of four of my grandparents are still alive. My grandpa is 90 yrs old this year!!!
I have mixed emotions about this trip.
The emotional journey back to childhood has begun.
I am glad I will be traveling with both of my parents.
