To all those who have lost someone...
I've read blogs from people who have lost dear ones to them like husbands and children...and after contemplating a response...I close the window without responding at all.

What do you say to someone who has lost someone?  An  "I'm sorry for your loss" doesn't seem enough...I'm sure by now, they've heard it over and over again that it has lost its effect.

I wanted to write this blog for you so that you know that eventhough I don't know you...I care.  In my silence, I have taken a moment to think of those you have lost and to think of your grief...and though I don't know how to express it, I want you to know that I stand beside you to honor your loved ones.

I think of it as a moment of respect, rather than something that can be explained.

I know that nothing I can say will ease your pain...Nor I'm sure anything should ease the pain.  It is a great loss to be acknowledged and grieved.  So cry all your tears for that person that so deserves each one of them.  Strength and renewal will come from them.  Grieve and don't hold back.

Strength will come tomorrow.

You've put it so eloquently - what do you say? I've done the same thing, pondered a response, only to close the window without making a post. The "experts" tell us that a simple "I'm sorry" is all that we are expected to say should we face the grieving ones in person, but online, perhaps just the number of views lets the ones who have lost know that, somewhere out there is another human being who is respecting the dearly departed's memory.

You are such a caring person. It is very hard when someone loses a love one.The only thing we can do to help sometimes is just listen and help them through the tough time they are going through.
Cecy24 you are so helpful to others.
