...and others just to make trouble.
Speaking of The Eagles Concert...
I just recalled what took place with the girls that were sitting next to us at the concert last night.
I first saw these two young girls enter through Gate 1 in front of us. I knew then that it would mean trouble. They were two very good looking girls of about 20 yrs old.
They took their seats...and ours were next to them! I say this in a bothersome way, because in hindsight, we were in for a night of interruptions!
As it turns out, they decided to talk throughout the show. (Since when are The Eagles supposed to be background music?) I mean, c'mon, why go to a concert when you can talk at a coffee shop.
The worst part was not the talking. The worst part was that these girls started dancing with a "mature" man of about 60-something years old, and things got ugly from then on. Did I mention these girls were about 19 or 20?
It didn't look very good for a man of 60 something to try to pick up the 20 yr old (He stayed with them the whole concert and left his wife and daughter somewhere in the arena).
At one point (not sure which song was playing because I was so distracted by the spectacle), the man picks up the girl in his arms (like a groom carries his bride) and spins her around....And hits a guy on the back of the head with the girl's legs and foot. Of course it was an accident, but it must've hurt...and it certainly would make anyone angry. (It's like "what the *uck! just happened?")
Next thing we know, the victim gets up from his chair and yells at the old man something that could not be heard through the crowd...but the man is too drunk to realize what's going on.
At this point I was thinking there would be a fight. But no. The victim's girlfriend quickly gets up from her chair and calls security. Security comes and tells everyone to take it easy.
The girls keep dancing with other strangers, touching each other on the dance floor, taking photos of one another, shouting, etc.
What a mess! The girls ended up getting so drunk, they were both allover one of the guys.
I just kept thinking to myself, "do you even know who's playing!??? It's only one of the best bands in the world and if you didn't want to see them and have no respect for their music (let alone respect for yourselves), then why bother to pay so much money to come see them?!"
Ah. I must be getting old. Kids these days!
