I hope today is not an indication of how the rest of the week is going to unfold.  I had a phone interview this morning.  My very first phone interview.

I blew it!

I didn't have the job description in front of me because it had expired from the site and there was no way I could get it.  I thought I could get away with it (what else could I do), but the first question asked was "So tell me what you know about this position?"  I was devastated!  I answered as best as I could, but I still screwed up.

My answers were more people skills oriented, and it turns out the job is more administrative! I can't believe I even said I dislike repetitive tasks.  She then said this position is repetitive sometimes.

Oh what a mess!  I still went ahead and sent her a thank you note.

You live you learn right!???  I just wish it had gone well. 

I really wanted this.
