After three interviews, the verdict is that I do NOT get the job.
Somehow I'm not torn. I will never again apply for a position that does not outline a salary range in the job ad. What a waste of time to go back and forth three times.
I suppose it's not time for me yet . I will keep trying. I'm sure something will come someday.
What I learned from this experience:
that getting three interviews doesn't mean you get the job
I have sharpened my interview skills
I am less nervous in front of interviewers/HR personnel, etc.
I will not apply for jobs that I don't know how much the job pays
I will ask for a description of the interview process (meaning will it be 1, 2, 3, 7 interviews? and with how many people)
I have learned that I don't have as much patience as I thought I did! I got very fed up with this process.
I have learned that I need to improve my communication skills. I am totally qualified but for some reason I'm not projecting that in my interviews.
I have learned to appreciate my current job a little more.
that you want something really bad, doesn't mean you're going to get it.
that I tried my very best and that is all I can do
that this will not hold me down and that I can do whatever I want to do in life if I give it my all!
I think next, I will take a communications certificate. For personal and professional growth.
Goodness... I'm so hard on myself. |
