SHREK-2-2004-They just couldn’t leave well enough alone. I liked SHREK a lot but this sequel is a little disappointing. There was really no reason for a number 2 except that number one was a big hit. The song covers on the soundtrack are pretty unnecessary and I certainly could have died without ever having to hear “Livin’ La Vida Loca” again! Though it was kind of weird to hear a cover of The Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen In Love”. It just tries too hard to be outrageous.
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz repeat their roles (it beats acting) and Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Antonio Banderas (his Puss N Boots is nearly incomprehensible), Jennifer Saunders and Rupert Everett also lend their voices.

I loved this movie! I have 3 kids and it's nice to watch a movie that the kids enjoy and my hubby and I find humerous as well, I can't wait to see the third, out tomorrow I think!

Here here, I actually watched this and agree, wasnt as good as the first, far from it sadly, was good/watchable, but sometimes sequels suck big time, where as some can be better than the original first one
okay, okay, I'll hush now ..lil laugh
thanks for this sweets - hugs

I'm not a Shrek fan but I admit that the CGI (computer generated graphics) in the movies is good.
