We are victorious in Jesus. Victory is mine today because God is on my side and fighting for me.
We need to be oriented for a blessing. When God wants to fill us we have to be in the right position to get the filling from him. If a cup is in the right position it will be filled if its not in the right position it will not. I believe the same is with us in our spiritual walk with God. I have to be in the right standing with God so I can be filled.
STEP 1: Confession of sins
One way to orient yourself for a blessing is to confess your sin. You have to acknowledge that you have sin and ask God for forgiveness. God knows that we fall and there is no need to confess to Him but to self. When sin is confessed you will be inline for a blessing. The bible says:
If you don't confess your sins, you will be a failure. But God will be merciful if you confess your sins and give them up. Proverbs 28:13 CEV
God is all merciful and He will truly forgive us our sins. May God be your hiding place and refuge. May you worship and pray to the one who has all blessings for us.
We worship you, Lord, and we should always pray whenever we find out that we have sinned. Then we won't be swept away by a raging flood. You are my hiding place! You protect me from trouble, and you put songs in my heart because you have saved me. Psalms 32:6-7 CEV
