Well. Here I am. Sitting here on my sofa on a Sunday afternoon typing this first blog.
The past week has been a tad odd.
I spent last weekend with my parents who live down on the South Coast. My dad made a comment about me having a big neck which my mum found funny until she looked & pointed out that I had a lump to the left of my throat.
I went to the doctors on Monday & was asked if Id come across anyone with TB recently! 'Not that I know of' I said. Although having to get a tram to work every day, It wouldnt suprise me. lol
She prescribed me 2 types of medication to take, 7 tablets a day for the next week.
I must admit, Im not that great with taking tablets. The 1st type of table is 400mg which Im ok with swallowing, but the 500mg Im having to cut in half & then swallow both half's separeatly - which doesnt all go to plan. Nevermind.
On Thursday I went for a blood test.
Even though I have a tattoo, I have a phobia of needle's & I have no vains on my arms - Im a junkies nightmare - so that was fun. He took 5 bottles of blood & I should get the results early next week.
Friday night I went for a few drinks after work with some work mates out into Croydon. We actually got in without being asked for our ID. Which is the first time in a long time that has happened.
After getting into an unlicenced cab - it was my mates idea & not mine & I was pretty cross with her for doing it - I got home at 2am. I stayed up until I got through to her to make sure she was home & ok - which she was, but as it turned out the cabbie wanted a kiss & a cuddle from her when he dropped her off. Like I said, I wasnt happy with her & told her to never do it again.
Saturday afternoon, me & my boyfriend went to view 2 flats to rent - our landlord is moving back into our place in April therefore we have started looking for somewhere to liv now, as for what we can afford, theres not alot of decent places out there.
We have put an offer into the first flat that we saw. It ticked all of our boxes - off street parking, in an area we have lived before, 2 bedrooms, long term let, we can paint it, garden, shed, Victorian & a cellar!
Needless to say a couple who viewed it straight after us have also told the agents they are interested in it, so all 4 of us are waiting to hear on who the landlord chose. Then theres the £250 holding deposit to find if he gives the go ahead to us!
