It's kind of fun being laid off, I have all kinds of time to get caught up on things I needed to get done. What about them Wolverines pulling off an upset yesterday! (disappointing season though). Finally a new coach, maybe he'll open things up a little on offense. --- Ya know I think there is more people in Michigan who like to watch the Lions to see them lose rather than win. I am so tired of them being so inconsistent. The Ford's got to sell, they can't run an organization like the Lions. As long as the Fords own the Lions they'll be the same old Lions, disappointing year after miserable year. Go Blue. |

Hi ... Stopped by to check out your blog and see you are from Michigan as well. You had asked in one of your earlier posts about honeymoon destinations. I have heard from several people that Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii is the ultimate romantic place for a honeymoon. You can find them on the world wide web at.......

Florida can be very hot, muggy and uncomfortable in July. Personally I think the mountains of Colorado are very romantic. Don't have a particular place to recommend but something you could check into. Nothing like the beauty of the mountains and a mountain hideaway to celebrate your new life together.
Concerning your fiancée's birthday. Why not plan a visit to a country inn. There are many romantic inns located in your part of Michigan. A young man I know (around your age) planned an inn visit for his girlfriend and it was a big hit. Although I have never visited there I have heard nice things about Castle In the Country which isn't to far from where you are. Follow the link below to get to their web site.

Remember the best gifts come from the heart and are not found at the mall or at Target. Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Peace

We are actually going to stay the weekend at a castle only a couple hours from where we live in about a month. It is a wedding anniversary party for some friends of ours. I might have to look into a honeymoon in colorado, I've been to colorado springs once and it was nice. I just keep thinking beach, beer, and sun.
