Guys are like children they either punch your arm at lunch or they hide behind a rock. I'm afraid that you might have to get enough courage for the both of you. Just go up to him and say "hey I just wanted to tell you that I think you are realy cuiet" give him a tender smile and walk away if that doesn't work then just grab him by the shirt and plant a big old kiss on him.
