 Our First Encounter
When I met you for the first time,
It was a warm October night.
You sat there on the wooden bench,
Your dark eyes shining in the pale moonlight.
You stood up and you shook my hand,
Sending shivers down my spine
There was no mistaking the chemistry between us
As your tender hand gripped mine.
I couldn't take my eyes off of you
As you walked away.
You continue to give me butterflies,
Even to this day.
