So Thursday night has come and gone. This was by far the happiest night in my life. Both performances went so well, and I had so much fun, living the moment, and gettin swept, lost in it. I really felt like Justin Timberlake for 3 hours that night. The look, feel, swagger, presence... I got to feel like my role model, twist the tables and dance, perform and entertain.
I plugged this event, worked on it for 5 months, from the choreography to set design and theatrics... with the support and dancing/performing of classy and amazing friends... my dream and aspiration to feel like JT came true. The man who's talents and work on FutureSex/LoveSounds saved my life, and gave me a better alternative to life than drinking and snorting. He inspired me to be better, and grow... just like he has. Why settle for just being a musician? I don't want to be just another advertiser in the cubilce on the end. I want to be a fashion designer, and have my own label, and own my record label, and restaurant, and act and model. I want to be famous and expand the categories of entertainment.
It's five days later and I'm still hearing compliments and congratulations from people about both performances. I know I'm not JT but it feels good to hear people compare me to him and believe in such a good performance, one that took a back seat for a year!
Thank you to everyone who came and watched, tried to or helped put a finger print on the masterpiece... I will forever treasure this, as the greatest event of my life, to date!
