| Mighty oak |
|
The mighty oak stands
Two pillars as in one;
Reaching toward the face of God
Bells will no longer toll this day
The death of mankind...
Is but a breath away
The meadows in wilt,
Hunger for the rains that never come...
Trees bent toward the earth mother...
Weak from the weight of sorrow
Winds blow as a sirocco, of the desert
Our dreams eaten by the Locus;
Growing fat from what we transgress
We bow our heads,
We weep our tears,
Our tears to poison turn
As Mother Earth they hit
No longer can she hold the dreams of Man…
In this dying time
How to say I love you
How to say
Some many thanks…
How to capture your Spirit
Not enslaving; but to hold an’ cherish
Sometimes late
In twilight time
I feel my soul drift; thru darkness
To you…
I close my daylight eyes
Not knowing if sunlight be seen again;
My heart beats
To cries of torturous memories;
My soul searches
For your guardian spirit;
to guide me well
I feel tine touch
The gentle voice I hear
Carried on the Winds
Healing this Paper Heart
