 Talents.
Talents. Do we all have one? Growing up, I was told that we were all made with our own unique talent, but now I am older and my talent is still undiscovered. So my question for you is, Do you have a talent? If so, What is it? If not, What talent do you wish you had? Please leave me comments answering my questions..
Thanks,

We all have talents but maybe yours is still considered undiscovered because your talent is to either enhance or modify the talents of somebody else's.

A talent needn't lie in art or design or any avenue people tend to define talent. My sister claimed to have no talent, always quick to point out my talent at floral design. However, one day I rattled off all the things she excelled at, that I did not. She was a patient listener, ready to lend a sympathetic ear. She was a terrific Mother, wife and grandmother and enjoyed all those roles. She could turn out the most beautiful and delicious apple pies you could ever sink your teeth in. She had the best organizational skills of any one I know. Despite the many painful disabilities, she had the unique talent to hide her pain from those she loved.
Search for your talent...it's there....simple and true.

I can really relate to what you are saying. I have wondered most of my life what my talent was. Something finally occured to me though. A lot of times when we think of our talents we think of them in comparison to someone else or perhaps several others. Perhaps even movie stars, etc, who have the help of a camera to enhance their talent. You need not be perfect to have a talent and talent can be developed. When I realized that it made me think back to high school when I was in dance team and in drama. Those talents aren't something that I use on a day to day basis now, but they were enough to prove to myself that I do have talent. Not only that, but I realize I was taught how to act. So I can be taught to do other things. Also, I have a natural talent in dancing, but what is that? That is rythem, movement. I may have other areas where I can use the same natural gift that aren't necessarily dancing such as getting the correct timing down while doing cardiopulmonary resucitation (CPR). I think a lot of times our talents are there, they are just dormant or undeveloped.
