 CHANGE: Truth, Fact or Myth?
Do not imitate the way of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your minds,
that you may discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
[Romans 12:2]

It is truly amazing how easy it is for man to follow a spirit of deceit and embrace it to the point of losing himself to it while still claiming to value the laws of the LORD. Seeing things from the inside is truly a lot different than seeing them from the outside. In comparison, it is along the lines of God seeing the end before the beginning and working backwards to the beginning knowing the outcome will be good. But, we see the beginning and often worry about how things will end. However, trusting God and not man will give us the advantage every time. For He allows us (His children) to see what others do not see or are not willing to see! He gives us wisdom which is referred to as vision by some and to others it is called discernment.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part
thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
[Psalm 51:6]

From the inside, you are exposed to an array of truth that man not only refuses to see from the outside when that truth is finally revealed to him, he devotes a great deal of time trying to convince you to be ignorant to the truth even when you do finally see it for yourself. Why? Because he would rather remain ignorant to the truth than to accept it for what it really is for fear of having to see himself for who he really is! A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. He refuses to see himself objectively for fear of knowing he needs to make a change for he is not willing to change! His lies become his truth and his truth becomes his way of life. He becomes adamant and indignant in his ways that are centered around untruths and will have no hesitation in forcing them upon you through his self reasoning [justification] that has nothing to do with the Word of God [truth]!

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
[Psalm 115:1]

There are a number of people who are trying to convince us to feel good about being bad, corrupt, dishonest, unjust and operating un-Godly through our actions against others. [There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. – Isaiah 57:21] In the words of Creflo Dollar, you must stay away from people who are framing your way of thinking that goes against the will of God. So, it would be in your best interest to stop allowing people to limit your thinking. You are more than your limitations! Stop allowing people to transpose their thoughts into your mind; regardless, of who they are! That holds true to family members, your supervisor, co-workers and even the President of the United States. The position a person holds does not make them qualified to do the job at hand nor is it a justification of their [false sense of] righteousness. Said differently and to the point, it does not mean they possess the appropriate skills or knowledge needed to perform the tasks of that position, accordingly. The position a person holds does not make them the authority of that profession. It may mean; however, that they were in the right place at the right time or they were connected to the right people or power base to receive favor and chosen above all others who were more qualified for that position. Or it may simply mean, they stole the election through unjust means. Just as the unjust receive favor, your covenant with God will and can give you just as much favor and more over the enemy. God’s favor does not last a season, it lasts a life time! With that said, you must be careful not to fall for the deception of the unjust. You can not allow yourself to be moved by what you see or what you hear; especially, if it goes against the Word of God. Beware of those who twist God’s Word to justify their untruths!

Confess your faults one to another,
and pray one for another; that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
[James 5:16 –18]

Regardless of how much we would like to change the past and rewrite history, it can not be done. You can not change what has happened! You can repent and attempt to make a conscious effort to make things right. However, if you refuse to acknowledge history as it has happened – meaning, refusing to acknowledge your wrong doing - you can not begin to right a wrong successfully and move forward. For those of us who were affected by history – meaning that which is in the past – we must “still” address it and confront it regardless of how painful to allow healing to begin.

The power to feel another’s hurt and to want to heal that hurt,
to sense another’s need and want to satisfy that need; this is the root of social justice!
Harry & Bonaro Overstreet

Hurt must be confronted and exposed, constructively without violence, of course, in order for healing to take place. You can not put a bandage on it thus covering it up while hoping it will just go away! No more than a person who has suffered hurt can lock it away in the deepest corner of their mind hoping to get over the pain and not be affected by it somewhere in the future. The greatest injustice, however, is not only refusing to acknowledge your contribution to the wrong that was inflicted on another in the past, it is your continued blatant disregard for your current behavior in the present which tells me you have no desire to change. Irrespective of your deep rooted desire to avoid the truth or dismiss it, at some point you must take responsibility for your actions. An action, I consider to be a major contribution to the pollution in this environment we call America. That mentality has festered and it is referred to as the “America Way” which still exists today! Was America truly built on Godly principles or greed? Or have we, perhaps, just confused Godly principles with man’s personal crusade for dominance by any means necessary through the concept of religion? This is a time of self-examination and social transformation! When you allow your mind to be conformed to the world, you then forsake the standard that God has established. When you are not connected to the Spirit of Christ, you will assume the world’s disposition, conforming to what others dictate.  [See end note (1).]

As the Christian church became increasingly corrupted by state power,
religious rhetoric was often used to justify imperial aims
and conceal the prophetic heritage of Christianity.

[See end note (2).]

Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.

Blacks as well as other minority groups have become so familiar with disparity (not being able to enjoy the same equality as whites) that they rarely speak up any more about the injustice. Those that do, come under attack and receive various threats as well as attempts to defame their character. Can you imagine being so frustrated by what you see and convicted by your heart that it makes it impossible not to speak up and out against what you see? Speaking in love with all sincerity, you still find yourself being persecuted for your sense of integrity and desire for truth. A long time tactic to tear you down and shut you up for stepping out of line. Then you become subject to a campaign to put you back in your rightful place to be seen and not heard. However, in the case of many blacks, you are not to be seen or heard. Therefore, your words and/or your intent gets taken out of context deliberately. Why put yourself in a position to be the center of the enemy’s attention? Satan will stop at nothing to destroy your character. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. However, if God be for you, who can be against you?

Integrity will guide the righteous,
but the duplicity of the wicked will (attempt) to destroy them.
[Proverbs 11:3]

Since the beginning of April or May 2008, the most talked about person on planet earth was Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. I would say, that makes him the most important person in the history of all people besides God, because he has obtained more than just 30 minutes of fame. Reverend Wright, Jr., a black man, who according to the information found in Wikipedia, was born on September 22, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His description, alone, qualifies him as being a person who can rightfully talk about his point of view from a black experience [or perspective for you educated folks]. Are you aware of the events in history as it relates to the black experience as early as 1941?

1-Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2-For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:
but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
[Isaiah 60]

Why should Reverend Wright dismiss his calling [See end note (3)], his heritage, overlook history and be willing not to address it because you refuse to accept the truth? [Proverbs 28:5 – Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.] To accept the truth, you must be willing to hear the truth and acknowledge it! Unfortunately, people do not want to hear the truth. Do you want to hear the truth or do you want someone to tell you only what you want to hear? Do you want the truth straight up or do you want it sugar coated and watered down to be insignificant? Do you want the truth, only, when it feels good or are you willing to accept the good with the bad?

For God does not withdraw his gift and his call.
[Romans 12:29]

To my surprise, for the first time since the beginning of what is now termed a microwave society, we have been challenged to use something called our brain. Is that not a good thing? Some of us have been in the dark for so long that we have lost sight of what it truly means to be able to think for ourselves. We have lost the ability to rationalize, analyze or research the truth for ourselves. Why? Because we have brought into a way of thinking that voids us of ourselves. You have to be able to think beyond the limitations that have been placed on your mind and in your mind to exercise your mind! You have become a part of the deception! You have allowed yourselves to fall under the spell of a Jezebel spirit. Why is it unbelievable to think that the government could not be responsible for the recreation of and the spread of HIV-AIDS? [See end note (4):  Tuskegee Experiment.]  Why is affordable healthcare a thing of the past?

14-For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in
Judaéa are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your countrymen,
even as they have of the Jews: 15-Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets,
and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
[Thessalonians 2]

The American Way or The American Dream

Unfortunately, the ideal American dream has been one based on assimilation. [Let’s not forget the episodes of Star Trek introducing the “Borg.” What was their major mission?] Though we have moved into an age of diversity and have been there for quite some time; since the early 1990s in fact, there are some who refuse not only to share, they feel they are entitled to more than half of everything - if not all. This mind-set stems from what I perceive to be the “good old boy network.” A culture or society of a majority of white men who determined truth based on a limited and false sense of knowledge geared at controlling all women and minorities with brute force. [RE:  assimilation, see end note (5).]

Today, we live in a very self-centered selfish society also exhibiting what I consider to be a sensate culture. Where is the integrity? We are shown time and time again, that an elitist arrogant attitude is not only good; but, being in such a position gives us immunity to the law. Wire tapping is illegal, but I’m the President so that gives me the right to be as unjust as I deem absolutely necessary. Why? Because I’m the king of this country; I am god. I do not feel that all people within the world should be entitled to the same which is why I pardoned I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. So what if he was convicted of obstruction of justice and perjury for lying to the FBI. He broke the law under my leadership; therefore, he does not deserve to reap one day of punishment for that which he sowed. Yes, we are in a recession and as President, I should be concerned about all people. However, I am only concerned about myself and protecting the wealthy from being affected by a deficit. [A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.] Extending unemployment benefits to allow for an additional three (3) to six (6) months depending upon the circumstances on a case by case basis is not acceptable nor deserving; regardless of whether or not it should affect those in the lower class [whites] that voted for me. As quiet as it is kept, my idea of wealthy excludes people of color as well as the many others who are not on my level. I came into office with an agenda; an agenda that calls for a few sacrificial lambs. [Proverbs 18: 10The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 11The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as a high wall in his own conceit.] I am, for the most part, a ruthless business man who is ruled by my flesh and operates under a perverted sense of Christianity with the same mindset as my ancestors over 400 years ago. I know how to market myself to appeal to the little folk to make them believe I truly care about them. I sold them on my faith-based initiative which has nothing to do with the Word of God!

When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth:
but the righteous shall see their fall.
[Proverbs 29:16]

What is fear? Fear is a weapon of the enemy! Why has it taken so long to prove weapons of mass destruction do, in fact, exist - if they ever did? Were we manipulated by fear (false evidence appearing real) as a result of the events of September 11, 2001 to go along with a war inflicted upon innocent people in an attempt to settle a personal war of vengeance? What have we proven? Really! We have been instrumental as a nation of people to destroy another nation of people, for what? To repeat history and prove we are better? Superior? Have we succeeded in being a dominant and controlling nation or bullies who unconventionally – as in the past - take what we want because we can? Has no one bothered to research the significance of September 11 to see the connection or pattern to political events? Did no one bother to see the possible connection of the passengers aboard those planes that went down on September 11? Why is it so impossible to believe that such an event could not have been orchestrated by our government? [New money against old money in the name of The New World Order. America is ruled by a corrupt government with many dishonest people deliberately and strategically placed in many positions of power to misguide faith!] Has no one bothered to take a look at the events of our history and noted the driving force of our power base? Perhaps you may want to review the nature and character of a Jezebel Spirit. [A spirit is neither male nor female; it will attach itself to whomever it can operate in for the best results based on your identity or desire for evil or righteousness.] Whose will are you following? Have you examined your heart lately? Is it that important to follow those in power based on the position they hold even if they have proven to be morally wrong in their actions? You can not possibly feel good about the outcome of the events of this nation and consider yourself to be a “true” Christian.

21-Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
23-And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
[Matthew 7:21-23]

We can not continue as we have in the past and feel as though we are entitled to take what we want without taking responsibility for that which we have done. What goes around, comes around. We will reap what we sow in more ways than one. You can not continue to terrorize people in your own country as well as others in neighboring countries and not give any thought to the consequences. There has been no change, because there has been no practice of change. Only arrogance and pride! We as Americans, have unfortunately, become so comfortable in our sin that we not only fail to recognize truth, we refuse to see it for what it is worth. Yes, in our sin, not with our sin! We want mercy, but we do not know the first thing about being merciful. [Psalm 57:1 - Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.] We have been controlled by negativity for so long that we have reclassified it as being justice.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
[Proverbs 28:13]

Ironically, If ignorance according to man’s law is, in fact, nine (9) tenths of the law, shouldn’t knowing the truth and doing nothing to correct it make you just as guilty as not knowing the truth? Especially, when our judiciary system is structured around this very fact and enforced by men who use it to falsely accuse and sentence individuals for crimes on the basis of not having all the facts or the entire truth. And on the basis of double standards from where I sit, our judiciary system [see end note (6)] has also been instrumental in freeing a number of individuals who were entirely guilty not only in accordance to the truth, but with all the facts present as well. How is the truth beneficial, if it is not the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

31-Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
If ye continue in my word, then are ye  my disciples indeed;
32-And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
[John 8]

Why would the judiciary system allow the men responsible for the bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church that took the lives of four (4) little girls [Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson, and Cynthia Wesley] on September 15, 1963 to go unpunished and not be determined to seek justice for them until there was talk of reparations for a race of people who were unlawfully enslaved? And yet the current President of the US would have us believe that because it was the law that such treatment was rightly justified. [As a man thinketh, so is he in his heart!]  Where else, but in America can a man get sentenced to three years for what is considered to be a crime against an animal while those who take the life of an human being on his wedding day are acquitted. And in a court of law, his death is ruled as being a justifiable accident when he was shot approximately fifty (50) times by law enforcement officers. If the Word of God can be twisted and perverted, why not the law. Laws have not been written to protect human rights; they have been developed and redefined to take away human rights. For the most part, there is no rhyme or reason to the actual laws that are on the books. Laws are established on the basis of politics in accordance to the biases and possible views of those in power for that term or duration. When you know better, you must begin to do better! What a backwards world; however, it’s not the world, it’s the people in the world who have embraced this negativity and teach it to our children. [In the world, not of the world.]  Negativity and hate breeds negativity and hate! What are we teaching children? What are we saying to the Nations?

The collapse of meaning in life – the eclipse of hope and absence of love of self and others, the
breakdown of family and neighborhood bonds – leads to the social deracination
and cultural denudement of urban dwellers, especially children.
[See end note (7).]

Let History Speak for Itself

When Columbus arrived in North America, there was approximately 1 to 3 million Indians already living here. When white settlers began seizing Indian land, that’s when the conflict arose. In 1754, the British government forbade the seizing of Indian land, but the colonists broke this rule or law every opportunity possible and another plan was devised. Through the American Revolution, treaties with hidden laws and terms were developed. These treaties or agreements [government contracts] were written with the intent to deceive various Indian tribes into believing their rights were being protected. After realizing the opposite had occurred, these tribes were reluctant to accept the government terms that not only placed sanctions on their land but the terms were also directed at attempting to force them into slavery with the aid of military force. If you know your history, you know New York City was stolen from the Indians. [It was never, honestly, obtained for what it was worth!]

If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[1 John 1:8]

By 1700, blacks were being delivered from African in chains and sold into slavery. Indians were too successful at escaping and making their way through the woods to their own people to be forced into slavery. For resisting, in 1871 congress decided that no Indian tribes would be recognized for purposes of treaties. Instead, they would become wards of the government and later, Public Law 280 was passed to allow state governments to govern Indian reservations. As time went on, the Indian population decreased steadily. Partly due to diseases contracted from white settlers, being massacred or through starvation which resulted in the deliberate killing of the buffalo by whites for sport and retaliation.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit:
he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
[Psalm 36:3]

What is the Black Experience?

From the beginning, the U.S. federal government created policies that discriminated against blacks. In the Dred Scott case (1857), the Supreme Court of the United States declared that blacks could never be citizens of the United States. Free blacks were refused passports by the federal government. Slavery ended in 1865 and was represented through the 13th amendment to the constitution, but the oppression of blacks did not end. Oppression of blacks has a long history in North America and over the years, it has been extended to others. After the war, the nation adopted two (2) other constitutional amendments: the 14th (1868), making blacks citizens of the United States and prohibiting state laws that denied them equal protection as citizens under the law, but failed to enforce it; and the 15th (1870), prohibiting racial discrimination in voting.

The NAACP took an active role in organizing a petition and being the voice of us as a race of people to discuss the renewal of 1965 Voting Rights Act. On July 20, 2006, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted in favor of reauthorizing the Voting Rights Act. GW Bush addressed the NAACP and seven (7) days later, July 27, 2006, Bush signed the bill renewing the Voting Rights Act for another twenty-five (25) years. Do you know how close we came to having this ruling not met, because there were some who did not feel this was an important issue or defeat for us to accomplish, yet again in the twentieth century? Why is a date or limitation placed on the Voting Rights Act?

Think about what it means to have the mind-set of Christ.
You must show evidence of selflessness and humility
while considering the needs of others as our top priority.
[See end note (8).]

The Civil Rights Act of 1866 made it a federal crime to deprive a person of color born in the United States of the rights of full citizenship. Both this legislation and the Fourteenth Amendment made civil rights the responsibility of the federal government. However, through the birth of Andrew Johnson's Presidential Reconstruction, the 1865 unwritten laws referred to as the black codes [See end note (9).] were re-enforced by white legislatures in 1866 and beyond. Segregation [Jim Crow] in the United States was a legal and social practice of separating people on the basis of their race or ethnicity. Segregation by law occurred when local, state, or national laws made it a requirement. The Supreme Court in Plessy v. Ferguson (1896) upheld the constitutionality of separate railroad cars for blacks and whites. Speaking for the court, Justice Henry Billings Brown argued that as long as the separate facilities for each race were “equal,” they were permitted under the Constitution. In dissent Justice John Marshall Harlan, the only Southerner on the court and a former slave-owner, argued that the “Constitution is colorblind, and neither knows nor tolerates classes among citizens.” Justice Harlan pointed out that segregation created a psychological sense of superiority among whites while harming blacks. Throughout the South, segregation had the support of the legal system and the police. [Injustices supported by the legal system and the police. How has this changed?] Such customs were humiliating and oppressed blacks emotionally as well legally.

1-Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2-But his delight is in the law of the LORD;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
[Psalm 1]

Beyond the law, there was always the threat of terrorist violence against blacks who attempted to challenge or even question the established so called order of justice not enjoyed by all on the basis of inequality. During the reconstruction, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), the oldest terrorist organization in the world, was formed in the winter of 1865 to 1866 by a former Confederate general to stop both blacks and Northerners from carrying out their government and social reforms along with the Knights of the White Camellia, and other terrorist organizations. These groups or organizations were responsible for the death and murder of thousands of blacks and some whites as they attempted to prevent them from voting and participating in public life through intimidation and fear tactics with an end result of extreme violence. For example, in 1876 and 1877, mobs of whites led by former Confederate generals killed scores of blacks in South Carolina to prevent them from voting or holding office. These white terrorist groups directed their violence against black landowners, politicians, and community leaders, as well as other whites who supported racial equality. In some cases, the presence of the U.S. Army prevented massive killings; however, there were never enough soldiers to actually stop the violence nor was it intended too. Some of the very same men, who were disguised as soldiers upholding the law by day, were some of the very same men who operated as members of the KKK by night.

19-Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me:
neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. .
20-For they speak not peace:
but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
[Psalm 35]

One of the nation's worst acts of racial violence occurred on May 31, 1921 that was initiated/started by 1,000 – 1,500 whites. It is referenced as being the most horrific race riot in the history of riots and known to some as the Black Holocaust. A riot so heinous that it claimed the lives of many blacks - including whites who were not in agreement with what was happening - with the assistance of the U.S. law enforcement. Police [with military and combat experience] flew airplanes and dropped nitroglycerin and dynamite on 600 black businesses including churches, two (2) black owned newspaper establishments, a school, a hospital and a library. Burned approximately 1500 homes that were looted before they were torched, and destroyed a 36 square block area of a Tulsa black community known as the Greenwood District in Oklahoma so prosperous that it was nationally known as Black Wall Street with a property value equivalent to $14 million in comparison to today’s currency. As of this date, no one responsible for this crime against the Greenwood community was brought to justice. No monetary compensation for damages to homes or businesses was made by the state or Federal government to those who suffered a loss. The longest living survivor is approximately one hundred years old. Each year since the 1921 riot, he along with others – before their death – has attempted to seek justice and restitution. Do you see the irony? Unfortunately, the longest living survivor, after all these years, may not get the opportunity to obtain that restitution!  [See end note (10).]

Seeing Things as They Are

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was established to outlaw structured racism and discrimination in areas of employment and public facilities as well created the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission which was enacted to end segregation in schools. Where else but in America could the confession of two (2) men [Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam, a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army reserve] who were responsible for the killing of a fourteen year old boy, Emmett Till, appear in the January 1956 issue of Look magazine for which they actually received compensation for that story. An article entitled, The Shocking Story of Approved Killing in Mississippi by William Bradford Huie that outlined the events of such an atrocity in great detail for which justice did not prevail.

11-False witnesses did rise up;
they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
[Psalm 35]

Unfortunately, discrimination, racism and prejudicial practices are still alive and striving in the year 2008. Like the brutal and inhumane treatment of the men who were held captives at the Abu Ghraib prison that uncovered accounts of abuse, torture, sodomy and homicide beginning in 2004. [Sources: 2004 Taguba Report, a criminal investigation by the US Army Criminal Investigation Command and a U.S. television news-magazine: 60 Minutes II.] And what about the recent issues surrounding the rights of those being held at Guantánamo. Are they not still men, regardless of what we deem their actions to have been? Are they not entitled to their day in court or were they? What evidence of proof was presented to warrant their incarceration? Do you not see a pattern? What have you been reduced to? The Bush administration wants to limit the rights of the Guantánamo detainees. The practices of injustices are still prevalent, but re-disguised and enforced by something called the justice system and religion. Are you spiritual or religious? What does God see or think of you when he is a witness to your actions or views? Our troops are fighting a very senseless war that has nothing to do with justice. The Supreme Court has helped to lead the way with its support of the Patriot Act; an attempt to enforce and exercise more control. Unfortunately, our government and this current administration (Bush) rewrote laws and broke laws at will to fulfill a personal and political mandate. And, they made many justifications for it by twisting the truth with no accountability. So, once again they have created an environment that encourages dissention against another race fueled by rage, hostility, violence and injustice.  [See end note (11).]

Two to three days after Barack Obama’s reiterated plans to the nation to bring the US troops home within a sixteen (16) month period following the November 2008 election, if he is elected President (and, hopefully, God forbid is not assassinated as a result of hatred and racial discrimination), an article reads: Iran Launch Seen as Warning. What a remarkable coincidence! With that said, I assume Iran is tired of being bullied by the US and have no desire of being victimized by us any more; at least, not without a fight. As quiet as it is kept, the war in Iraq was never the intended target. It was always about oil and Iran. With approximately four (4) months left to go, G.W. Bush needs to move fast to carry out his plans to attack Iran; however, he needs to create probable cause in the eyes of the nation to get support from Congress and the rest of the American people. So, yet again, with the assistance of fear, Bush may just get that support at the expense of our troops being put in more danger.

2-But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
[2 Corinthians 11:3]

Wake up and review things objectively! Unless you are willing to dissect an issue, deal with it objectively and discuss it openly, the fumes from this pollution will continue to ignite and burn as it destroys what “little” humanity we have left. We will continue in the direction in which we began in history not making an effort to change because we refuse to look at truth as it is today in relation to what it was in the past. You can not continue to say, you are not and will not address it, because it was the law during history to commit an unrighteous indignation against another. The law was wrong then and it has not improved much now. How much change do you see? Do we really have “freedom of speech?” Why does it matter from where that freedom is spoken? Whether inside of the pulpit or outside of the pulpit. Looking at history, all races were not allowed to worship together; in fact, there were a race of people who were forbidden to step foot inside of a church that was occupied by whites unless they were forced to provide the entertainment. Was not the church instrumental in helping to enforce a law that enslaved a race of people in spite of the fact that Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law? Nonetheless, it was faith in the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost that sustained them and the belief that change was inevitable!  [See end note (12).]

Accept Change!
Embrace Change!
Be Willing to Change!
Be Willing to Implement Change!

I am sure, without a doubt, that there are a number of people reading this who, not only fail to see the truth and are consciously unwilling to take a stand for the truth, will be quick to call me un-American while in the same breath will be quick to call on God to bless America; regardless, of the truth.  However, I, a person who was born in America and currently lives in America as a descendant of a race of people who have been victims of America in the present as well as in the past pray to God to have mercy on those who find themselves in the middle of a senseless inhuman society of selfishly motivated people spiraling in an un-Godly direction to fulfill a desire for life and death that resembles anything but the character of Christ in an effort to prove they are better in some way.

4He shall call to the heavens from above,
and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself.
Selah.
[Psalm 50]

At the age of 47, I do not have a whole lot of time to waste. If only I knew at the age of 16 or 17 what I know now, I would have been further along in my walk with Christ. Listening to Joyce Myers’ one morning as I prepared for work, I heard her say: Your attitude in the wilderness determines how long you will be there. Your attitude during your time of trouble determines how long you will endure; the longer it takes you to go through. It took Moses and the Israelites 40 years to complete an 11 day journey. Change constitutes you not only changing your attitude, you must change your way of thinking to see results. Why apologize for something and not mean it? If you plan to continue to conduct yourself as you have and not give any thought to changing your attitude or way of thinking to improve your actions, why exert all that unnecessary energy in being phony . Have you not realized by now that what you do in the dark will eventually come out in the light. You have to take responsibility for your actions and start by changing your demeanor.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope,
that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with a all boldness,
as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body,
whether it be by life, or by death.
[Philippians 1:20]

For I know who I am! I know my identity. For God I live and for God I die. I refuse to hate myself in the name of white supremacy that has taken on another identity to prove myself by condemning others [black, white, purple or yellow] through unjust treatment similar to that of my ancestors who fought for their freedom as well as mines. I will not dishonor the legacy of my ancestors by attempting to deny others a piece of the pie that was not created with me in mind. I will, however, honor them by continuing to fight for my rights as a citizen of the U.S. as well as the rights of all humans. I will not allow myself to be deceived by the enemy and turn my back on God and all his teachings to fit into a world that has so quickly sold its soul to the devil which is evident by their unjust treatment of others. God’s commandment and Will for us is to walk in love! Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping His commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I command thee this day.

Well done thy good and faithful servant!
[Luke 4:18]

(3)  Rev. Wright was called by God to preach; he was not called by man.  He is responsible to God, not man.  Speaking the truth in love is not being divisive.  The institution of slavery not only divided us a long time ago; America through the unconsitutional leadership of vindictive acts continues to set us apart from each other as well as the rest of the world in a less than favorable way.

(4)  The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the black Male also known as the Tuskegee Syphilis Study or the Tuskegee Experiment was a clinical study, conducted between 1932 and 1972 in Tuskegee, Alabama. 399 poor - and mostly illiterate - African American sharecroppers, who already suffered from syphilis, were studied to observe the natural progression of the disease if left untreated.  Individuals enrolled in the Tuskegee Syphilis Study did not give informed consent and were not informed of their diagnosis; instead they were told they had "bad blood" and could receive free medical treatment, rides to the clinic, meals and burial insurance in case of death in return for participating.  The Tuskegee Syphilis Study was cited as being "arguably, the most infamous biomedical research study in U.S. history" that led to the 1979 Belmont Report.

(5)  PBS Video: In the White Man’s Image [Source: WWW2.facinghistory.org]; A GOOD EXAMPLE OF ASSIMILATION - A 58 minute segment presentation that examines how this humanist experiment was really cultural genocide in disguise.  In St. Augustine, Florida in 1875, an ambitious experiment was conceived to teach Native Americans to become imitation white men. With the blessing of Congress, the first school for Indians was established in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to continue the “civilizing” mission. Indian students had their hair cut short and were forbidden to speak their native languages or to visit home for up to five (5) years. By 1902, there were 26 reservation boarding schools.

(6)  In 1994, I was personnally told by someone working within the office of the DC Bar Association, off the record of course as she labeled it, that there was so such thing as justice within the Department of Justice or the Judiciary System as a whole.  Therefore, I should not expect to receive a victory in any court of law within the U.S. unless I came from the right background and could afford to buy justice.

(9)  The Black Codes:  Labor contracts bound blacks to white plantation owners; the black codes were not only established to control blacks and keep them in line, they were established as an aid to labor contracts. Black codes were a series of laws that dictated rights and restrictions on the freedoms of the newly emancipated slaves with only a few privileges. Among them were the right to own, buy, and sell property; to sue or testify in court only involving cases against other blacks, but not against whites and prohibited them to serve on juries; allow for marriage, but did permit blacks to marry outside their race; and prohibited blacks to carry firearms or other weapons, but reserved for whites. These codes were not only a devastating setback to blacks, who had expected greater freedoms and not a relapse back into slavery; they varied from state to state. Black codes in addition to the Jim Crow [segregation and discrimination] laws legalized corporal punishment, maintained black inferiority, and established a system analogous to slavery that remained in effect for well over another century. Escalating the situation was the profusion of attacks against blacks as well as other whites who were favorable to justice for all that resulted in cross burnings, lynchings, rapes, beatings, and other hostile acts; thus, culminating into major riots in Memphis, Tennessee; Louisiana, New Orleans; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

(10)  H.R. 1995: Tulsa-Greenwood Race Riot Claims Accountability Act of 2007 was introduced April 23, 2007 to provide any Greenwood, Oklahoma, claimant (a survivor or descendant of victims of the Tulsa, Oklahoma, Race Riot of 1921) who has not previously obtained a determination on the merits of a Greenwood claim may, in a civil action commenced within five (5) years after enactment of this Act, obtain that determination.

(11)  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.  March 10, 2008 @11:24 AM.  A Report by Krista Minteer, Human Rights First reads:  Tortured Justice: Using Coerced Evidence to Prosecute Terrorist Suspects—released today by Human Rights First, finds the Bush administration has undercut its own intended use of the military commission system to bring those responsible for September 11, 2001 to justice, by allowing the admission of evidence tainted by torture. The administration sanctioned the use of abusive interrogation methods, believing that the need to gather information by any means to prevent future terrorist attacks took precedence over the complications it would cause down the line in prosecuting crimes that had already taken place.  [Source: http//www.humanrightsfirst.info/pdf/08307-etn-tortured-ujust ice-web.pdf]

(12) Jeremiah Asher – Protesting the Negro Pew: In the nineteenth century, Asher faced a situation of inherent racism that permeated American culture that shook the very foundations of the ungodly system that existed behind church doors. I contented that those seats which were made for whites were good enough for blacks; if they did not wish to mix us together, they could give us a certain number of seats expressly for colored persons. But they [church leaders] were aware that, without some visible distinction, whites coming in would often be sitt6ting in the Negro seats, and their devotions would be frequently disturbed by the pew-opener, who would be obliged to remove them, and regulate all such irregularities … If me will disenfranchise and separate me from the rest of my Father’s children, they shall do it at their own expense, not mine. I cannot prevent, but I will not help them do it. I will lift up my voice against it.
