Love drove him here, Love caused him to give up everything, Love welcomed the humility of a stable where animals lived. Love embraced humanity for our sake. Yes, he gave up his divine nature to become a baby. A baby, small and weak, a baby called Immanuel, “God with us.” And yet he was fully human. How can we comprehend that God Himself would want to be like us, the only answer is LOVE. The purpose of this love is to show us how a human can fully know God and walk in a divine relationship with Him. Following this man Christ Jesus leads us right into eternity. It is the great EXCHANGE; God comes to earth so we can be eternal with Him.
