Four days ago I came on the blog rave, I had never done this before and find it rather interesting. What I have notice in reading other blogs, is that their are alot of people out their with alot of problems. It seems that there are some that want to use the shock treatment. You know, my life is further in the pit then yours. I'm not an expert because I haven't read them All, and quite frankly I don't want to. It seems to me that people would be a lot happier in life if they didn't focus on all the things gone wrong. Broken and tragic lives have become the NORM. Maybe it's the media that is influencing people, we hardly ever hear good news. Why do people crave to hear the bad? There is alot more to this than meets the eye, I believe there is a spirirtual realm that influences our lives. There is darkness that come from the enemy of our soul, satan. Darkness is all the brokeness, shame, fear, hate, lust, etc. that is in our lives, and we all have to deal with it. We are all created in God's image and the darkness tries to take life out of us. When we speak, write or think of these influence over and over again, we come in to agreement with the enemy. There is power in words, think of Creation, God spoke and it was created. Because we are in His image we must come into agreement with Him and His plan for our lives. I know this works, my life is truly blessed. A Blessed Life is RARE. Don't be the NORM and follow after the crowd. I Challenge you!

hi beloved!
i don't know if God needs to be invoked for this sad situation - but i agree totally with you that there is way too much focussing on the 'bad' rather than the things that are positive or can be made positive - it's a matter of mind-set!
good post - cheers!
:o)
I will agree that many people in life seem to get into a mindset where they have to compete to see who had the worse life...however I also think that blogging for some, me included, is an almost therapy where you can say what you want, throw it off your chest and move on...also you can get a worldwide idea as to what others think. So maybe some people dive FAR into the dark pools of their lives, but as long as that come back up and soar I think it is fine.
For some people, blogging is their only form of therapy. Or maybe for some people, like myself, speaking innermost thoughts out loud is just too difficult, but blogging provides me with a forum in which I am comfortable in doing so. Blogging allows a person to deal with their demons in a completely anonymous setting. Personally, I don't care if my blogs are read or not; nor do I care if anyone comments on them. Blogging for many is just another form of keeping a journal, or a diary. If folks come on this site to blog only about the wonderful things they think and/or see, it would have no therapeutic effect. Not to mention the fact that it would be terribly unrealistic. Life is up and down and these blogs are a great representation of that. For many people, this is the best that it gets when it comes to seeking understanding and/or companionship. It is not up to us to judge or to admonish our fellow bloggers. Live and let live. If a person is feeling desperation about their situation and life, then they should be allowed to use this forum to talk about it without fear of judgment. Just something to think about. The wonderful thing about this site is that if a particular blog is bringing you down or is just too negative for your taste, then you have the ability to quickly and easily go on to the next blog, and the next, and the next - until you find one that best suits you.
