So I lasted 2 days.....since my blog on sat I smoked bout 12 fags, not quite the couple I was gonna let myself get away with!! Oops. I have new worries though. I am beginning to panic about what flat life will be like when everyones back. The flatmate who is currently visiting was starting to worry us in halls, she was drinking a lot and lying about how much she was having. She would often get drunk on her own. Well nothings changed, she tried to tell me that she had a couple beers last night and thats all. When I went to bed she was slurring her words got up this morning and MY litre bottle of vodka is suddenly half empty. Its ridiculous, when we try to speak to her about it she thinks we are having a go and brushes it off. I cant be assed living in a flat where the rest of us have to lock our booze away so she doesnt drink it all. I dont understand, she must know that I m going to notice the bottles going down....its not like she only had a drink from it. Shes blatantly had at least a half bottles worth. Im worried but at the same time I am annoyed because even when we try and help she makes out we are being stupid. Im also annoyed at the fact she is stealing alcohol from other people, from her friends. When shes drunk she is not a nice person. Everyone in this flat has problems and issues and we are always here for each other. This girl however is inapable of being there for anyone which wouldn't be a problem to be honest but quite often she just heightens our problems. I dont know what to do.

I would suggest that you and your other flatmates go to a AA meeting. Addicts can not think straight because they are busy looking for their next fix. I don't care if its drinking or doing drugs..addicts always have that next mentallity..where can I get my next drink, smoke, video game. Have a intervention with her when she leasts expects it that too might help.
