 Sundays what a joy, sometimes!
Sunday was the most beautiful day,
after church I spent most of the day in my barn
with my horse and my dog.  We went for a beautiful ride in the mountains.  Almost all of the leaves are down now, so we crunched the leaves where ever we went.  Skipper will soon be going to his winter home, as I do not have running water in the barn and have to haul it there.  So it was such a blessing to be able to spend an entire day with him.  I must have brushed him for an hour after our ride.  I really should have been cleaning house but I was just sure the clutter and dust would be there for me later, and of course it was.  So I kinda just walked around it and ignored it, maybe tomorrow.

I bought my grand daughter a pot holder maker for Christmas, but, being the dotting Nana that I am, I wanted to make sure that it worked.  I have now made over 12 pot holders.  Guess I'll have to get her another one.  Seems that anything the slightest bit crafty comes into my house I just can't stand it till I use it. But if you would like I can sell ya one go to www.stealingNana.com and order one. LOL  not really.

So much for a day off work!

Hope ya have a good week!

Ya know frags, I was trying to think of something that I did when I was around 6 years old and I remember making tons of those silly pot holders. Didn't think I would still be doing it into my 50's LOL...... And no, I don't buy her computer games her parents and other grandparents do enough of that. I like to buy her things she can use her imagination on, or be creative with, or read. We just found out that she will be in the Gifted program at school. She is in the 1st grade and reading at 3rd & 4th grade levels. I would like to think that I encouraged it. LOL Maybe it just runs in "MY" family. LOL

he too was reading 4th and 5th grade books at primary school.

It's great you had that time with Skipper and before you know it you'll be posting a blog about him coming back for Spring. I hope he enjoys his winter holiday. It will give you time to make a whole lot more pot holders - lol.
