Lesson number six was my favorite because I enjoy writing poetry. But my least favorite was lesson number nine, because I couldnt necessarily relate to the poem, so it was hard for me to answer the questions. (posted in

To me, the poem resembles Lincolns life, and efforts after the war before his death. Since the plot is Lincolns assasination, That is the reason why it is a narrative poem. It is an extended metaphor because it uses the ship, and the captain, etc. as metaphors for lincoln. (posted in
