Grocery Store Nightmare.... ( Story ) Under Constr
It was dark and stormy out, and Addy had finally walked into her appartment, where she lived with her boyfriend Zander. She looked very upset and scared, and wasn't able to talk because of her anxiety disorder, which had her gasping for air. She fell to the floor immediatly, trying to calm down, so she could tell her boyfriend what had happened.  Zander knew something was wrong, but didn't hesitate as he rushed to get her medication from the other room. He knew how serious her problem was, and if she didn't have her medicine quickly, he would have to call an ambulance. She was laying on the floor, soaking wet and in shock, as tears ran down her face. It was obvious that something bad had happened, because this panic attack was one of the worst he had seen, and it was getting worse by the minute.
Addy's mother had given them a giftcard to buy some food, so she decided to go by herself so her boyfriend could rest and take care of her mother's dog, Miracle. Once she left, Zander ended up getting called into work, so the dog would have to be left alone.  Zander called to let her know as soon as he got in his Jeep and was on the road, and let her know that he was driving to work to fix something for a new client, and that he would call her when he was on his way back home. After getting off the phone he realized he forgot to tell her about the key he left outside for her. He was already at work, so he wrote her a quick text message, telling her the house key was on the windowseal, next to the front door. She got his message and she laughed because she forgot to tell him that she found it on the ground next to her car, right before she left. Addy offered to go to the store alone because she wanted him to watch the dog and thought it would be nice to let him rest. She was a little upset because she planned on making a special dinner, and now she didn't know when he was going to be back, and she was almost finished shopping.
The really did not like going to this grocery store that the giftcard was for, because of a certain employee that worked behind the customer service counter, who would always follow them around and who had made sexual advances towards her boyfriend in the past. This employee was always there, and would stare into Zanders eyes and look him up and down in a sexual way whenever they entered the store together. It made both of them feel uncomfortable shopping there, and they had even called the manager and complained about his behavior, but they never did anything more than an apology on Torry's behalf. The manager informed Addy that Torry, the employee, had been told to stay away and avoid contact with them, but she still thought he should have been fired for the sexual harasment that took place a few weeks ago. Torry was a heavy set male, dark skin, with white contacts in his eyes ( which was very scary and disturbing...he looked like a Halloween costume that talked. ), with black spiked up hair. He also made sure he had shiny lip gloss and make-up on. He was definently a person you would try to avoid if you were to actually encounter him. Addy was done shopping and all the regular lines in the store were packed with people, so she headed to the empty customer service counter, where she usually would never go; because of the guy/thing behind the counter who she thought was very strange. She just wanted to get back home quick to cook a special dinner and take care of her mother's dog. She waited for the one customer in front of her to be rang up, and then it was her turn...and all of the sudden she had this strange feeling come across her...a bad one. She also remembered that she had to ring up her items at the customer service counter to buy some ciggerettes and lottery tickets. Torry, who obviously was attracted to the male gender took her keys from her hand....she looked at him like he was crazy...and he was. He started taking apart her car keys and cleaning his finger nails with them, while licking his lips and looking talking about how long her eye-lashes were. Of course, Addy started to get upset and felt disturbed and confused at his actions...and just looking at him in general made her get chills. She asked for her keys back, and instead of him giving them back and feeling like an idiot, he then grabbed her cell phone and took the battery out! She was so mad and confused that he was not listening and letting her go, that she reached over the counter and took back her keys and cell phone and put them back together. Torry just laughed and grinned, staring at her like they were best friends, and told her that he would be seeing her later...which seemed a little scarey. Once she got out of the store she walked towards her car and started to dial her boyfriends phone number to tell him about what happened and how weird this girlish-guy was and what he did! Addy grew up having panic attacks and anxiety disorder, so this upset her enough to make her heart race and her palms sweat. Everytime she goes to this store she see's Torry and sees him watching her or Zander when they go together. Well, when she started to dial her boyfriends phone number, she slipped because of the wet ground; it was in the middle of hurricane season and the weather was bad and lightening was striking every few seconds. It was not the best time to go get food, but she would feel awful if there was no food or drinks in the house. Addy was a good girlfriend and always made sure the house was clean, the laundry was done, and the house and her boyfriend were all taken care of. She was a very caring and loving person, even though she did not have many friends, she would help out anyone close to her heart. After Addy slipped and fell, her phone dropped into a puddle of water. She picked herself up and looked behind her to see people laughing and then out of nowhere Torry was right next to her. He walked behind her, collecting grocery carts that were close to her car. His face was blank and he did not say a word. Her phone was broken from it slipping out of her trembling hands and into the water, and she could not call out. As she jumped in her car as fast as she could, panicing, she stated to sweat as she noticed the man had a small pistol in his hand....watching her every move...as she locked the doors without hesitation. Addy had a hot little ScionTc, which was completely blacked out and sexy. The windows were tinted so dark you could not see inside if you tried. She was into customizing cars and making them look different. Before she bought the car she looked at it as a project, something she would turn into eye candy, and that she would love to drive.
She put lowered the car, took off the emblem on the back and did a lot of work on the inside, as well as the rims and custom paint. Addys car was her little highway space ship, and she loved that it was always there waiting...her way to escape when she needed some space or wanted to just drive. Driving was the way that she was able to escape from anything....period. Addy was an artist and was very creative. The night before she made a cherry pie and carved hearts and words into the crust for her boyfriend, and for herself....cherry pie was a favorite desert of hers...or even breakfast. She loved taking care of people, it was in her blood and her heart was big. It was a good thing, but I guess being too nice all the time let some people take advantage of her kindness....and she knew it.....................Her old best friend Amanda had been ringing her phone all day, talking about how she was so bored and her car had broken down, and that she really needed a ride; but would love to see me since we never hang out anymore...and pretty much being as nice as possible because Amanda knew how nice Addy was and that maybe if she tried really hard she might let her back into her life again....and get some free rides and ciggerettes out of it too. Addy and Amanda had became best-friends during school and it continued until Amanda started drinking very heavily...where she you could smell the alcohol on her a mile away. Her words would slur and she would act really slutty and dumb. Addy finally could not put up with her anymore and had to slowly stop spending time with her, mainly because she tried to help her so many times, and just yelled at for telling her that she may have a problem. Amanda refused that she was an alcoholic, but maybe Addy was wrong.....drinking strait vodka at 9am and throughout the day and night...everday...was something normal. Rolling around in the middle of the road laughing with her eye's crossing as she talked to herself might be something some people do often, but not Addy, and she couldn't take it anymore. It was sad that this evil had taken her best-friend away and replaced her with another pary girl who just wanted to drink all of her problems away. Addy had thought back at every time Amanda had called. She thought very hard about whether or not she was using her, or if she really did want to get together again, but for some reason Addy wasn't buying it. There are those special people out there, that really want to help someone, not for money or anything else, but because it is in their soul, mind and from their heart; and when these people like Addy are able to help someone, even if it's something small, it is the best feeling you could possibly experience...like sex...love...family...or the feeling you get when your dog runs up and licks you on your face. A little creature that just wants to make you happy and be by your side at all times, and when you leave, they wait for you to come back. In their eyes, you are the most important thing in the world and they really do love you. Whether it's a dog or any other "pet" you may have, or have had in the past, you know that you can trust them. Addy had bought a puppy a few years ago, a little while after her family boxer named Bandit had past away. Addy's mother did not want this dog in the house at first, but after time, she could see how much her mother loved this puppy. Her mother worked nights at an assistant living facility, taking care or the elderly, for over twenty years. She loved her patients and they all were like family to her. One of her favorite patients passed away about a week before Addy had purchased this adorable little fluff ball puppy, and her mother was very sad. Something seemed missing and Addy knew what to do. Early in the morning, Addy looked out the window ( This was when she was still living with mom and dad. ) and saw her mom walking the new puppy...and she had a smile on her face that was out of pure love for this dog. It was her new best-friend. When her mother came back inside, Addy sat down with her mother and pulled out the present she had purchased the day before. She had a custom collar made for "miracle", which was the puppy's name, as she placed it in front of her mom. The puppy thought it was a toy and started tearing the paper off. "What is this Addy...?" her mother asked sounding a little confused. " I love this dog with all my heart, but I think this may be the missing piece to yours. Take this collar and put it on your new puppy...your Miracle." Her mother hesitated but finally gave in. " At first I thought this dog would be too much to handle, but now I feel like I'm not alone anymore. Miracle is always for me, and I catch myself wanting to get back to see her as soon as I get off of work. I really love this dog....this really means the world to me. I know you love this dog too..." her mother said with a happy tear run down her cheek. Addy wiped it off, as her mother took the beautiful light pink, tan, and black collar with diamonds on each side of the dogs name. She put it on Miracle and smiled. Working hard to earn the money to buy Miracle payed off. The happiness that she felt from giving her mother a reason to smile each day was something she could not explain and would never forget.
Addy had been dog-sitting for her mother's dog miracle, which was at the appartment with Zander. As whe drove off franticly, she looked in the rear view mirror in confusion as she saw the same crazy employee, on a green bicycle behind her. This was a little crazy, what did this guy want and why did it seem like he was following her? With no phone working, she took a back way home, contantly checking behind her, to see when this maniac would go away. She turned left, right, and even did as many turns as possible to loose him. Addy felt in danger for her life and suddenly the employee disapeared. She looked around in the woods that were near by, making sure he was not hiding in the bushes or anywhere else. He knew her car, and that scared her, and the fact that this store was located about a couple of blocks from her appartment. She took a deep breath in and tried to calm down, telling herself to breath, and that he was gone. Little did Addy know, that this man had ditched his bike in the woods and was still following her.  He was armed, on drugs, and had an obsession that was out of control. It became darker out as the sun had disapeared. Addy's light sensor came on for her tires, close to home, so she pulled over. She had noticed about a week or so ago that her tires looked like they had been sliced open with a razor, and not just one, all of them. She rarely drove because her dad said that it was very dangerious to be driving until she got new tires. Addy got out of the car, holding tightly to the pepper spray in her hand....and watching carefully to the surroundings as she looked at her tires. Torry peeked from around a tree right next to her car, that was pulled over on the side of the road, and waited with a razor blade in his hand. Her tires were almost flat and her phone was not working. She did not have the money to buy new tires, especially right now, without a job. Her family had gone from the top to the bottom. She remembered when her mother, father and herself got into the car, as they drove to this beautiful neighborhood where they planned on purchasing their second house. Her father was an engineer and had worked for over twenty years and had finally decided that it was about time that they move into a new house, and the one they found was a dream come true, and it was unreal to Addy that after living in the same house for over twenty years that they were actually going to move. The family pulled up to this gorgeous light-blue two story house. When you sat in the kitchen you could see out the crystal clear tall windows, and see the refreshing blue pool with surrounded by these stones and trees....and above the pool there was a jacuzzi that had a waterfall leading into the pool. Well, her father ended up getting laid off right before closing the deal on the new house, so they had to hold off on moving, which was very disapointing; and from there on things just didn't seem to be getting any better. Addy felt awful when she heard the bad news, but told her dad that one day she would buy him a house, and that she would do whatever it took to make them happy. She thought of how hard her father worked day and night...raising the kids....paying the bills...taking them on little vacations to North Carolina and the keys every year....and for it all to stop, it was as if time had frozen. The worst feeling is when you know the one's you love and care for are going through such a hard time, and that they are not happy, although they try so hard to cover it up with fake smiles and laughs. When Addy didn't have money to buy birthday cards or gifts anymore, she would make something instead. Addy drew her father a card to cheer him up and said to him," Dad, if I had the money I would buy you that house right now...but I don't...but in time I will. I promise one day I will buy you and mom a beautiful house. I just want to see you both happy again." Her dad looked at her and said," Addy...there is something about you that is so special and I have always had a feeling you would do something big with your life. I love you and I believe in you." To know her father believed in her gave her the strength to keep pushing and getting back up after she fell. Imagining that day when she would be able to place that brand new key in her fathers hand, to the house he was never able to grasp...filled her with so much happiness...she could just close her eyes and see the look on her mom and dads face....and it brought a tear to her eye. Times were not easy and seeing her brother going in and out of prison her whole life didn't help her family or her mental state. It brought on many arguments and threats of divorce. Seeing her brother in the hospital covered in blood and glass, after driving his green honda prelude underneath a huge semi-truck, under the influence of many different drugs taught her a very important lesson. She held her brother's bloody hand as he lay looking dead...and she thought he was. He had just been rushed into the hospital on a strecher and she spoke to him even though he could not talk back...telling him that he was going to make it and that she loved him so much, as she kissed his cheek gently...and then he was rushed into surgery to remove the glass that filled his eyes and whole body. When he crashed his car, his head went right through the windshield, as he immediately was unconcious from the impact. He was lucky, because he did end up making it through, but had seriouse injuries and scars. Her brothers face would never be the same again. From that moment on, the accident really opened her eyes to how important life was and how one little thing can change everything...time is precious.
Addy opened her car and started the engine. She locked the doors and started driving towards her appartment, relieved that she could finally breath, but was still worried and felt like someone was following her. She lit a ciggerette and the wind blew an ash in her eye. It burnt for a minute and made her eyes water as she wiped her eyes and looked in the rear view mirror in shock......
The last thing Addy remembered was looking in the mirror into the backseat of her car and then someone that was insider her car, reaching over and hitting her head with something so hard, that she was knocked out. Opening her eyes, she wakes up inside an unfamilar place...her head hurts so bad and she's tied up...she had been kidnapped. She hears a familar sound, as Miracle her moms puppy limps her way and lickes her on the face. Torry had found out where she lived and had took her dog too. She tried to scream but ducktape covered her mouth. No one was in the room, as she looked around. She was in a dark garage. Addy knew she had to get out and fast. Her dog looked hurt, it's leg was bleeding... and she knew that she had to find a way to get them out safe and free, even if it meant risking her own life. In her head she worried about Zander and if he was safe. She knew nothing and she was scared. Going in and out of conciousness she had flashbacks of her family and Zander....her whole life...she remembered her grandfather holding her hand as he walked her down the dock behind her grandparents house, which was on the river...so many memories she could see inside when she closed her eyes. It was as she was there in that moment...tears started coming down her face...her eye's closed...but she was fighting on the inside for the strength to wake up and fight her way out of this nightmare. She never thought something like this would ever happen to her...she would hear stories like this happening to other people, on the news, which always made her feel awful...but never worried about it happening to herself. Now she was in a life and death  situation and had to think quick. Her leg felt broken and the pain was almost unbearable. Thoughts of giving up went through her mind, but she knew she had to fight her way out of this, no matter what. Her shirt was ripped and she could feel the blood dripping down the back of her head. It was so dark in the garage, with a red light hanging from the ceiling. She felt like she was in a horror movie. The only thing she could think of was her poor dog and how she was going to break free from this tape. She looked on the wall and saw a familar picture of her boyfriend. She realized that they had been being stalked, and had no idea...and she had no idea what this guy was capable of.
Addy's eyes opened as her dog lay beside her, she drew attention to her mouth by swishing around the spit in her mouth. Miracle looked up at her face and could see in Addy's eyes that she could not move or talk. Addy tried to get her dog to jump onto her lap, to get closer to the duck tape, that covered her mouth. She nodded her head up as she looked at her dog, much as it hurt, to try to signal her to jump up. This phyco didn't know that Miracle had been trough multiple training classes, and was way smarter than he thought. Tears rolled down her face, but all of the anger from her whole life and different situations suddenly came across her. It hit her so fast that it dried her tears. There was no more crying, and she felt no more pain, she was furious. She not only wanted to escape....she had much more on her mind...she wanted revenge. What kind of person would do this. She heard Torry, who she now called the Devil, talking on the phone. It was hard to hear what he was saying, but what she did hear, was the door open and shut. It was silent. Miracle jumped up once and failed...Addy looked around making sure the surroundings were clear and Torry was not there...She used all of the anger inside her, as she lifted her arms and tried to break the ducktape with force. She concentrated on freeing her arms, as the ducktape dug deep into her wrists, she felt no pain. Miracle jumped up onto her lap, and the dog started chewing on the tape around her wrists, and she felt she was almost free.
Addy heard the front door open and slam shut. He was back. She could hear the footsteps getting louder, as he headed to check on her, as the closed her eyes and acted as if she was still knocked out. The door opened and she could feel him close to her. Miracle had jumped down and hidden behind a box in the corner and layed down.  She felt something sharp next to her neck...but continued to play dead...and hoped that this wasn't the end. She noticed her legs were not tied up...and she could tell he was standing in front of her. She could smell his nasty breath and so much anger and hate filled her body. Something told Addy to do something quick, and as hard as she could, she lifted her leg up so fast and hard, right inbetween this motherfuckers legs. She put all of the strength into her hurt leg, that he screamed and fell to the floor, and she knew she hurt him bad. She opened her eyes and broke the tape that covered her wrists. Addy always had a little secret...before she got into her car, she had hidden her pepper spray inside her bra. She laughed as she saw Miracle run over and start attacking Torry while he was curled up on the floor holding his genitals. He didn't know she was free. Jumping up and kicked him again in the same spot, and grabbed this large piece of wood, that he must have used to knock her out. The story had now been reversed. Instead of calling the police right away, she wanted to do some investigating of her own. She wanted to do to him, as he did to her. People like this need to feel the pain they put innocent people through. As Torry tried to get up, Addy smashed the wood over his head and knocked him out. His eye's opened a little bit, as he lay on the floor, and she pulled out her pepper spray. She grabbed the ducktape that she noticed was laying on the floor, next to the chair, and she used all her strength to lift his lifeless body into that same chair she had been tied up in. She smiled as she ducktaped everything except his discusting eyes. She wanted him to see what was going to happen...
