| What is Wrong with People??

i've been following the baby grace case. i read that they identified her and have arrested her mother and her boyfriend. i read about how they killed her. how can anyone do that to a little 2 y.o. child? it's just horrific. the people she trusted the most and they kill her. the last moments of her life must have been unimaginable. it just breaks my heart. i need to quit reading these types of cases. it just fills me with such an empty, sick feeling to think that there are little kids being mistreated. poor baby.

i couldn't agree with you more.
unfortunately, every once in awhile things seem to go completely wrong. i guess we just have to hope that they'll get better eventually *sigh*

*TEARS* i lost my lil one before i had a chance to know him i was 8 and half months along and then nothing...everytime i hear of something bad happening to babies i tear something awful because i miss him so

Dear Arik,
Understanding what went through the minds of those two is impossible, but one thing holds true in our world.
Children are not being raised by responsible adults, and they have no inner guide because of this.
They grow up acting out in the way they saw on t.v last night.
If they saw on the news about two 10 year old boys body slamming a three month old child to it's death because the baby was crying, then they too act in a similar way.
That behavior follows them right into adulthood.
We as individual people are nothing more than a collection of everyone we have ever come in contact with, including who we see on t.v. : the only thing that makes us an individual is the ability to accept or reject what we have learned from others.
It's unfortinate that as small developing children we are subjected to so much violence and that why we are so cruel.
I lost a daughter to drugs. She learned it from a friend long after she left home. All my love and teaching could not prevent her from wanting to be apart of something, and that something took her away.
I wish I could be Jesus, so that I might give my life for the sins of this world, so that everyone could learn the good things of life.
It wouldn't change a thing today because no-one is listening. Even if I could save everyone, they would go right back to getting their's first at the expense of others.
Greed has a funny way of twisting minds. As long as we only care about ourselves then things like that will continue to happen.
I wish I could save us all, but the bible is right on the money when revelations tells us about the coming of the end. It is my opinion that the end is very near, and there is nothing that we can do to prevent it.
We will kill ourselves off one way or another.
Sorry if this sounds so negative, but truth is not always the pretty thing to see.

man, heavy stuff, I don't get it either, here on the news last night I saw that a 3 month old baby's death was being ruled a homicide...

children are my joy and it really kills me inside to know how cruel a person that has live themselves, feels its ok to take the life of a child. its disgusting.
