whenever i am going to sleep at night, i can think of all kinds of cool things to blog about, but when i sit down, laptop in lap, i can't think of a damn thing...other than the usual bitching about something.
my day was ok. had to drive to l-ville for the day. i don't mind being there when i am there, but i do feel a little lonely. the girls i work with there are nice and all, but not like my friends at my lexington office. it makes me sad that this bigger company bought my little company and to think that my best work friend will be leaving 12/31. and then everyone else in april 08. but i know my best work friend is one of my closest friends and we will still be in touch. i just won't see her nearly every day. and i will miss that.
been thinking of mom too. i guess b/c yesterday was the day she died 6 years ago. i don't want to miss her, but i do. i don't dwell on it too long b/c it hurts still. i guess it always will. i can't believe how close she died to my son's b-day...jake's b-day is next week. i remember finding the card she had already bought for him. she was like that. she always remembered everyone's b-day. i suck at that. but that was like a talent of hers.
well, i better get my ass into bed. i am trying to do better about getting enough sleep. i think some of my depression is linked to sleep deprivation.

hi arik!
why don't you keep a lil' notepad in your pocket or something of the sort - that way when you come up with an idea you just jot it down and then come back to it - you probably just need something to twig your memory. i keep a notebook on my kitchen table so when i'm having a smoke and something pops into the great empty hall that is my mind i'm ready to scribble down the idea!

Sorry to hear about your mom arik. Try to remember the good times, she would not want to look down and find you sad, just remember she is in a good place where she feels no pain and one day you will walk with her again!
