i thought they were great. i was very happy with how the monster looks. but be forewarned, if you are prone to motion sickness, you might feel dizzy from the motion of the camera.

i don't think it would've been as good just on DVD. it was a film that would be better on the big screen. i hope if you go that you like it and i didn't lead you astray!

JJ Abrams was in Japan with his son at a toy store with rows and rows of Godzilla toys. He decided that the US didn't have a good monster flick so he made one. So a monster attacks New York and it is filmed from the perspective of these friends trying to flee and save one another.

I just re-read your post. I totally missed the most important part about your dad. I'm sorry. No, it isn't morbid to think like that. It's your way of dealing with your relationship with him b/c you know that if he did die, you'd want to have some kind of resolution. Even though I bet you didn't feel much of a resolution really, but, believe me, it is better to do it than to regret not doing it when it is too late. I'm proud of you.

OMG!!!! I didn't realize you were a fellow Lost fan!!!! Oh girl, I KNEW I liked you. I love it. The show is set to come back on January 31st, but we are only going to get 8 episodes thanks to the writer's strike. :( but a little Lost is better than no Lost at all. Can't wait to talk about it with you!!!!

i read this story too, though i've been avoiding those types of stories b/c they upset me so much. there are some sick people in the world and i wish that our country would spend more time dealing with those types rather than making criminals out of potsmokers. and unfortunately, in jail, they'll protect this f*ck, separating him from the general population b/c they would hurt him if they had the chance. it's just messed up.
